One Coat Fence Life Charcoal Grey 5 litre

I understand some reviews have said the paint is thin.But it's Fence paint.It's not Gloss or heavy Vinyl.It is thin so that it penetrates ROUGH Timber.If anyone has ever tried to use thick Gloss or similar on rough timber they will understand the difference.It's a nightmare to achieve.Hence Thin Fence paint that spreads quickly and penetrates Rough timber easily.As for colour.That depends on the user.Fence paint does not cover surfaces like gloss etc.It leaves a light colour coat on the surface and will be partially transparent in most places.You can apply more coats to make the colour more vibrant.But you will never get the same complete colour of a gloss or vinyl etc.One coat of this paint does exactly what it says.Full protection against the elements.Extra coats are only needed if you want to highlight the colour a bit more.If you have a smooth and mostly plained wooden fence.I suggest using and undercoat and gloss finnish.You will get a better colour finnish to your fence or shed if complete colour finnish is what you wish.There is also garden paints,Oils,stains etc that are better for mostly smooth or plained wood.But if it's Rough cut sawn timber.Then This will be much easier to apply and more suitable for the Job.There are other paints,oils etc that will also work well if colour is important.This paint is basically cheap,quick to apply on rough timber and protects well.I hope this helps.

Really pleased with the coverage and depth of the colour. Dries really well and repels the rain effectively. This appeared to be very low odour and easy to apply. It seems like a really good product and my garden make over has certainly benefited.

Really happy with this paint. Painted all my fences and my shed. Definitely not one coat on new unpainted fences though. that’s my only criticism. But worth it after putting the time and effort in. I would say however it’s good value for money, and the paint quality is great. Would recommend, but just be prepared to have to do more than one coat as it says on the tin.

Paint arrived damaged by courier. Some paint had spilt out into all the packaging. Supplier provided good, quick service and offered partial refund, which suited all parties. Can't fault the response. 2.5 litres did a whole gate (see pic). Done 2 coats as I felt 1 was quite thin. Really like the colour - dark grey with a tint of blue in it (in certain lights). I do recommend the paint. Hopefully it survives the carriage for you.

Not very good . It goes a long way, mainly because it's as the consistency of tap water . Needed 3 coats for my shed , which still doesn't look to good. Won't be buying again.
