I didn’t see anywhere in the description that it was made with aluminum material. It is all plastic, which also isn’t mentioned in the description. Just received mine today.

Sorry, I'm not even sure what wattage is other than referring to light bulbs. I plug it in to our standard 110 household current and it does the job quickly and efficiently.
