I recently purchased a set of reusable silicone straws with a cleaning brush, and overall I’m really happy with the switch from disposable straws. If you’re trying to be more eco-friendly while still enjoying drinks like iced coffee, smoothies, or juice, these are a great option. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable they are to use. Unlike metal or glass straws, silicone is soft and flexible, so it feels much more natural when drinking. You don’t have to worry about hurting your teeth or dealing with that cold or metallic feel. They also work well with both hot and cold drinks, which makes them very versatile. Another big plus is durability. Silicone straws are designed to be long-lasting and can handle regular use without cracking or breaking. They’re flexible enough to bend slightly without damage, which also makes them great for kids or for tossing in a bag without worrying about them snapping. The included cleaning brush is essential and makes a big difference. Cleaning reusable straws can be tricky, but the brush helps reach inside and remove any residue. Once you get into the habit of rinsing them right after use, cleaning becomes quick and easy. That said, you do need to clean them properly—like any reusable straw, they can collect buildup if not washed thoroughly.

These food-safe, BPA-free silicone straws (brand: AMZSOCKETS) come in eight different colors, from the cheery vibrant ones to deep tones like black and grey. One would not get bored with so many color choices! The length is quite standard, about 8.4" for the straight straws and a little taller for the ones with bends. They can be used in tumblers and glasses up to about 7" tall. I used one to drink lemonade today. The silicone straw is soft. It was fine to sip from. The flow is good and effortless. However, I also felt a seam in the straw when drinking out of it. This was quite unexpected, so I checked all the others, they all have seams. When I tried to press it down on the lemon slice in the glass, just a mindless act perhaps to get the last drop of lemon juice, I realized how soft the straw body was. These silicone straws will not serve as stirrers because they are floppy. I think these are fantastic for sipping beverages like sofa, iced tea, iced coffee but not for thick ones such as milkshakes or smoothies. They are suitable for kids because they will not break like those made from glass, are soft in the mouth and durable. For me, I just wish these were a bit more rigid with no seams.

I love these silicone straws. I have a handicapped son who uses tumblers with a straw to drink from. These straws work great for him. They are soft and flexible so he can't hurt his lips, mouth, or teeth with it. The colors are nice and they match some of his tumblers he has. They are very durable and much easier to clean than the ribbed straws I had. The set came with both straight and bent straw which is nice for a variety but we prefer the bent ones. I also wish they were a little larger in diameter but that's just personal preference. They do fit both a 20 oz and 30 oz tumbler but they are a little short in the 30 oz one....once again, personal preference. All in all, these are very soft, flexible, durable, reusable, and easy to clean straws that work very well and look great too.

These straws are exactly what they claim to be. They work just like any other regular plastic or paper straw. They have an obvious advantage over paper straws in that they will not soften and fall apart. They also have a pretty wide internal diameter so sipping through them doesn't require a heavy "siphon", even with thicker drinks like protein shakes or smoothies. They are long enough to be used in a fairly tall 18oz glass. And they work for both cold and hot drinks. The colors can serve as a glass identifier if you have a family or are using them for guests. I particularly like the bendy straws which make it easy to take sips and remind me of the bendy straws of my childhood. The straws also clean easily, mostly just needing a rinse in warm soapy water. They also come with 2 pipe cleaner style brushes that fit perfectly and will get out any stuck on bits, like maybe from a milkshake. I will be keeping one of the bendy ones in my water glass which I keep full all day to make sure I stay hydrated. It's oddly a good reminder to take a drink of water, maybe it's the color drawing my attention.

On the positive side, the soft texture of the straws enhances comfort compared to more rigid reusable alternatives. In summary, these straws provide flexibility, comfort, and aesthetic variety, though minor quality inconsistencies may impact the overall experience. Based on these factors, they may not be a top choice for repeat purchase.

These straws are very smooth/soft/flexible due to the silicone. This makes a big difference for people with sensory needs. They will not hurt their teeth or cut their mouth on these. This set of 8 reusable silicone straws is pretty good value for the price, coming in at just over $1 a straw at the time of my order. They're noticeably not the same high quality as more expensive straws, but they're perfectly nice to use and also easy to clean. I did notice that the thickness of the material can vary around the diameter of the straw, and some of them aren't finished completely smoothly so you can feel the seam from where they were formed. I really like that this set includes both straight and bent straws so you have options depending on what suits your particular cup or bottle best. The colors are nice and bright, and there's no unpleasant plastic odor. The inclusion of two cleaning brushes is a nice bonus. The brushes are smaller in diameter than the other brushes I have, making them a perfect fit for these narrower straws.
