How can you tell which side goes against the face?

I purchased the multi color mask which was white on the inside so easy to tell which sides faces out. Also facing outwards the top pleat is layered on top of the other pleats. That would be reversed on the underside.

Do they fit adults?..

Yes they are fit for an adult and not a child.
