These knee pads work great when riding my dual sport motorcycle. I like the fact that the knee pads have double strap and can be cinched down for a firm secure fit - will stay in place during a tumble. The knee pads are comfortable, padding thick, and with hard shell offers full protection.

I've had 2 sets of these pads and while not perfect, will probably get a 3rd pair. I use them for ice skating outdoors and when I fall, I land hard on them. The first pair lasted several years and I was not easy on them. They saved my knees many times! Eventually the connection points between the hard shell and the fabric tore out, one at a time. I recently bought a second pair. Within a few uses, I had cracked the outer shell of one, and the connection points began tearing out of the other. Not sure what accounts for the poor longevity as the usage is the same and they seem identical to the first pair. I really like that you can wear them inside or outside garments, that you can slip your leg into them or tie them around the outside of your leg, and that there are four connection points to hold them securely. I find them comfortable enough worn over winter pants. Since they are inexpensive and I've tried without success to find others that (1) might not have the tear-out problem, (2) can be worn multiple ways, and (3) fit me, I'll be buying a 3rd pair.

The plastic rips right off the pads in a week

Bought these for my son who had MPFL surgery last year so I could know his knees are safe when he rides his motorcycle. Very safe, adjustable and comfortable for him to use no matter what type of pants he has on with them. They are not to long so even though he has thick thighs and smaller calves they stay put.

These things are big and bulky. They're nothing like the picture. If you're looking for something you can just wear under your pants (in my case I ride an electric scooter to work and wanted knee protection) these knee guards are not it. They also restrict mobility and limits some of the bending of the knee. They seem well made but these are overkill for my purposes. I'm going to be returning them.
