I'm currently in the process of building a custom travel trailer, and one of the essential components is a reliable shower valve. After researching various options, I chose the Aquor Mixing Valve, and while I haven't plumbed it into my system yet, I wanted to share my initial impressions after a thorough inspection. First Impressions Right out of the box, this valve exudes quality. My video walkthrough shows all the components, and I was immediately struck by the robust construction. This isn't a flimsy plastic valve; it's a solid piece of hardware. The weight of the unit speaks to its durability, and it's clear that Aquor hasn't cut any corners. Operation and Design The handle operates with a satisfyingly smooth action. There's no play or wobble, giving me confidence in its long-term performance. I particularly appreciate the slight, intentional stop when turning the handle to the hot or cold positions. This tactile feedback is a small detail that speaks to the thoughtful design. It prevents accidentally overshooting your desired temperature and adds to the overall premium feel. Materials and Build Quality The included supply lines are high-quality stainless steel, a definite plus. I've seen other valves with cheaper, less durable lines, so this was a welcome sight. The valve body itself also appears to be made from quality materials, though I'll have a better sense of its long-term durability after it's been in use. Based on what I've seen so far, I have no reason to doubt its reliability. Expectations While I can't comment on its performance in a live water system yet, my initial impressions are extremely positive. The Aquor Mixing Valve looks and feels like a premium product. I really like the quality of this RV valve. It easily bolted to a piece of aluminum a simple 1 5/8 inch hole drilled through. Control the water flow like we needed and is a lot cleaner than our old set up. Update - After using this for a few months now it works great. It is an always on valve and does not have an OFF position. I put a ball valve on my hot water side and leave it in that position until I use it and then mix the water. Hight quality and easy to take apart and clean.

Nicely made. I will use it for an external shower in my van. Have to test it a year to know if it worth the price.
