Mung Beans

Really good!

I make a vegetable detox soup that calls for this item, which adds a nutty flavor. I use a stick blender to blend it all. Great addition.

I used them for children treats they like them

For once I didn't closely read the product description. I quickly ordered thinking I was getting sprouting beans without the higher price or larger package that I could never use before becoming too old to sprout. When they arrived and I opened the bag I realized my mistake. They were pre-sprouted and dehydrated for snacking purpose. I thought, well lets take a taste and see how it is and maybe I might have a new thing to try when I reorder the dang 2 pound bag for a couple of bucks more. They were faintly sweet, gently crunchy and with a little bit of some seasoning before dehydrating might be something healthy to get the grandsons to turn away from the junk food. I learned something new for a decent cost. Glad I made this mistake. I suggest TruRoots come up with a line of seasoned sprouted mung beans if they have not already done so. Ranch or barbecue might be nice.

Great stuff I use them in a detoxing soup I make the glucuronic acid in them helps with the elimination of toxins and poisonous substances to attach to them and make them more water soluble so they are easily cleared from your detoxing organs kidneys and liver, and then cleared from our body.

Easy to cook, but didn't like the taste

Good quality product.

Sprouted mung beans are about twice the price of regular. But here’s the good thing: you can soak these overnight and 80% of the hulls will rise to the top. What then? You can scoop those babies out of there and put them in your compost. It’s the hulls which are almost impossible to chew and digest that cause gas. Is it worth double the price? Yes, for that alone!
