Saitek Evo does not work on MS Flight Simulator
The Saitek Evo is recommended for Flight Simulator by Amazon but as we found out on Christmas day the Saitek Evo does not work on this game. We have searched the internet and apparently a lot of other people are having the same issue. If you are thinking of getting this joystick for FS DON'T!

Different tastes
I needed a backup joystick to my current Logitech Wingman Extreme, as i wanted to eventually retire it. So I purchased the Cyborg EVO Wireless joystick(which was highly reccomended in PC Gamer magazine). I found it very different indeed, in that my Logitech joystick was a bit heavier and yet i felt more in control, but the Cyborg joystick was lightweight, which meant when flying planes the joystick tended to float around in my hands, rather than staying put. Needless to say, i couldnt get on with it, but if you are used to this type of stick, then it will suit you fine. The difference was too much for me, and i wont use it again untill my Logitech physically breaks ;)

Not a bad joystick
Dead zone is a little large, and it can sometimes take a fraction of a second to wake up if it has been idle for a while, but overall this is a great stick for the price. Perfect for Mech warrior 4.

The stick still works after all this time. Used it on XP and then later on Windows 7. No support for Windows 10 means that I will finally have to retire this baby as I'm upgrading to a new machine this month. XP drivers weren't great and a pain to install. You had to install drivers and software in a certain order otherwise it wouldn't work. Windows 7 drivers fixed all of that. In contrast to the Saitek, I went through 3 logitech flight sticks in rapid order. Have no idea what I'm going to replace this with as the company was bought by Madcatz and the new company has struggled in recent years in the very competitive peripheral business. Was passing by looking for a new stick and thought I'd drop a comment on this product that really worked well for me.

I know the title of the review is a bit unusual, but my father has a very high functioning case of cerebral palsey, where he has little to no use of his right hand. Thus, playing video games is extremely difficult for him, especially since they have advanced from Atari and Nintendo, where there were only 1 or 2 buttons to go with the joystick. He loves Nascar and Football and Baseball games, and to go with an ESPN game package we purchased him, we got him this joystick. It is wireless, so he can put it wherever is most comfortable. It has all of the major buttons available for one hand, and the other buttons are large so he can use his other hand to still hit them. He loves it, as it gives him the ability to play all of the games again, and have as much fun as everyone else!
