Easy Fan Fix
Our fan only operated at the lowest speed. Hampton Bay wanted $22 for 1 capacitor, so 3 for under $11 was more up my alley. Took less then 10 minutes to... turn off the electric at the breaker; take off the light kit; cut out the old capacitor; strip the wires; attach the new capacitor with wire nuts, attach light, and restore electric. Well worth the fix compared to throwing out a nice fan .

Will Not Fit!
These are not direct replacement for 90% of ceiling fans. These capacitors are double the size of ones used in most fans and will not fit within the housing.
