The best reasonably priced PCIE 4.0 SSD
According to techpowerup this is the fastest PCIE 4.0 SSD they tested and I can confirm their results, it is also extremely power efficient which means it won't throttle much when used without a heatsink and will give you more battery life, which is all ideal for a laptop.

amazing storage that is definitely worth every ounce of its price! With astronomically high storage of 2 terabytes you can fit in all of your favourite games and other applications needed without worrying about running of of storage. Very easy to setup and put into the motherboard and has very quick speeds for it to read and write data and so this makes it quick to launch games or any other apps that you may need to use in a short notice. Due to its high speeds, games run technically fast than other types of storage devices leading to much higher fps. It is also high quality so I expect it to last me for many years to come. Finally, it doesn’t get hot at all meaning that it will not fail me when running my pc.

I installed the WD_BLACK 2TB SN7100 NVMe M.2 SSD in my PC and couldn’t be happier.
