Murdock London Natural Beard Moisturiser with Aloe Vera - Moisturising Beard Lotion Made of Natural Oil for Dry Facial Hair - 150 ml

I’ve used this just once this morning and the difference is surprising. I’ve used various moisturisers, clays, beard oils to attempt to smooth my facial hair without much luck. One attempt with this stuff and it has made a significant difference to how smooth my beard is; I had expected it to take some time given the results with everything else I’ve used. With regards to the scent, it is slightly ‘off’ the moment you apply it but after ten minutes or so that goes away and you start to get the classic woody scent that most people like and it is nice and subtle yet noticeable. I suspect the initial smell is what is referenced in most of the poorer reviews but I wouldn’t let that put you off.

Really effective with a great smell and feel. Been using it for several years. Wish they did the 250ml bottle.

few years back i used one of those Murdock beard conditioner that I bought in their London Shop and I found the product exceptional. Then I decided to try some others products because it is an expensive product. I have to say the quality of those products, and only slightly cheaper, were not on par with Murdock Beard conditioner. This is the only product I have tried that really get rid of beard druff. Also it smells amazing and it feels good on the skin. Now I can say this product worth every penny!

I'm one of those chaps who grows a beard for a few months, shaves it to a moustache, shaves off the moustache, has baby face regret and starts the whole process again. I've used Murdoch beard oil and beard conditioner when I've had longer facial hair and found them rather good and so being in the post baby face stubble phase I thought I would try the beard moisturiser which I think is aimed at shorter beards. As a moisturise it's rather good, I was starting to get a bit of itchiness which seems to have abated and my stubbly beard is feeling a tad softer. None of the Murdoch products I've tried have much of a fragrance, for me I get an initial impression of cloves but once the product is massaged in there's no real fragrance which leaves you free to use whatever fragrance you want.

This is my second purchase in 3 months of this product. I have suffered in the past with dry skin under my beard which will flake and look really grim, and I've tried a lot of products to try to cure that. This is the only after washing product I've found that works, and although a little pricey, it goes a long way and is worth the money. My tip is, before washing brush your beard with a stiff bristle brush. Them wash with a good beard shampoo - I use the L'oreal one - and then towel dry, apply the moisturiser and comb/brush in gently. It works for me. Scent isn't particularly strong and it dissipates quickly, but that's not a big thing for me.

Have been using this for about 3 years and I can honestly say that nothing comes close to this, it feels great to rub in and leaves your beard moisturised without being oily. My beard is so soft, All itchiness and wiriness is gone and it smells so good! Combine this with a bristle brush to get those adventurous hairs and your beard game will be on point! Also the bottle looks great. If someone gifted me this, I would be very happy.

Have used Mourdock beard moisturiser for years and it has always been a 5 star product. I have tried dozens of alternatives and nothing comes close. From the fragrance it leaves in your beard, to the full thicker appearance, and then even to the soft wavy feel that lasts the whole day; this product is worth every penny and if you take your beard seriously, then this is the only product to invest in.

A very clinical smell that isn’t to my taste. Effective moisturiser though

No funciona mal como hidratante, pero el olor, aunque es algo personal, es un poco desagradable.

This is excellent stuff, leaves my medium length beard feeling soft and kempt.

The product feels very cheap and low quality. The plastic material does not match the premium price at all. I expected much better build quality for this price range.
