Great ingredients, low odor
ORIJEN is a great cat food brand. They are known for using quality ingredients and developing healthy recipes. This ORIJEN Chunks & Shreds Variety 12 Pack lives up to their reputation. These recipes have no grain, potato, carrageenan, pea, lentil or legumes and are 95% protein. They have “whole prey” ingredients, meaning they include not only meat but also organs. While they advertise that this includes “raw chicken and duck”, this is a shelf stable product in cans, so the contents are not raw. The contents of the cans include small morsels in a broth, topped with a small amount of shredded meat. The odor is not strong, so my husband did not have to leave the room as he does when I feed their usual canned meals. I started by dividing one can amongst five cats as a treat to test it. The one with duck turned out to be the favorite with my cats, but there were no leftovers of either recipe. My Sparky did have some digestive upset after eating this, but he does have a sensitive stomach and he may have eaten more than just his own portion. I also tried it out on the batch of feral kittens we have been caring for since they were born in our shed over the winter. They all were quite happy with it as well. I wish I could feed them this more often but, like all premium brands, while worth the price, it is too pricey for our multi-cat household.

Smells so much better than other cat foods
I would give the product 5 stars except that every can inside of the small package was dented. The carton containing the cans was not damaged, nor was the Amazon box, which leads me to believe the cans may have been dented in the manufacturing plant. (I'm just sayin) I paid a lot of money for this food. I purchased the wet and the dry for my 16 year old cat who is pretty much turning her nose up at everything nowadays. She deserves a healthy diet and you really have to read labels. I'm incorporating this food slowly until she can adjust to the switch because it is high protein and contains no "meal" or synthetic fillers, thank goodness. Hopefully, it will agree with her. She devoured it first on the trial run next to other food. The wet food smelled like real protein instead of the nasty cat food smell. I'm disappointed in the pet food industry because most of them load our pet food with fillers, ground up feathers, hooves and beaks, which are all allergens. I'm willing to pay more for quality ingredients so I hope this fits the bill. You really have to read and do some homework regarding ingredients.

4 paws way up
My cats absolutely gobbled these up ...so fast that I had to check the packaging to remind myself I’d even given them a pack. They disappeared instantly. Highly recommend. ORIJEN is definitely a brand I trust.

Cats did not like it
I'm torn on this review. This looks like obviously very good cat food. The meat is diced and there's a bit of gravy, there is a LOT more meat packed in here than in my usual cat food and other cat foods I've tried. The slick, metallic label and packaging all give "premium" feel. Unfortunately, none of my four cats liked either flavor at all. They licked the gravy and left the rest

Quality ingredients
I started giving my cats the ORIJEN Wet Cat Food as a supplement to their regular meals, and they seem to like it. The pack comes with two flavors—Original Entrée and Duck & Liver Entrée—so there’s a little variety for them. The food is mostly made from meat, with 95% animal ingredients like chicken and duck. It doesn’t have grains, potatoes, or peas, which is nice if you’re avoiding those ingredients. It also has nutrients like Taurine and Vitamin A for eye health and Omega fatty acids for their skin and coat. So far, my cats eat it without hesitation, and I feel good knowing they’re getting quality ingredients. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for a wet food with a high meat content.

Cat likes it!
My very active orange cat was so excited as soon as she smelled the duck and liver flavor. I gave her a quarter of the can, and she inhaled all of it, and she ate most of another quarter can as well, so I figure you can get two meals out of each can, which makes the cost more manageable. (My cat also gets some dry food though, so it might be just one meal if your cat is only getting wet food.) The quality of the food seems pretty good, with defined meat bits in a broth and not just a slurry you get with other cheaper cat foods, and the ingredient list looks pretty healthy.
