Just what I needed to clean the (apparently dirty) lightning ports in our iPhones and iPad.
Just what I needed to clean the (apparently dirty) lightning ports in our iPhones and iPad. My wife and I have been complaining for quite a while about how poorly our devices were charging. Our lightning port Charging connections were very temperamental, device would charge for a few minutes, then just stop. I would wake up in the morning expecting a fully charged phone, only to find the battery totally discharged. I did some research, and the consensus was I needed to clean the charging ports. Surely it can't be that easy? But before ordering new chargers, or getting new phones, I decided to throw a few bucks at these tiny little brushes to see if they would solve my problem - and they did! I spent a few minutes with each of our devices and these brushes, and our chargers are connecting flawlessly. My iPhone is even connecting better to the USB cable in my car for Apple CarPlay. To other reviewers' points: Yes, these are quite delicate little brushes, and the cleaning job is a delicate operation. But, you don't want to jam anything into your phone that's too robust or you'll break something. I used about two brushes on each device. They get a little bendy and wonky with use. The bristle tips can break off, especially if you twist them. I did find that if you bend the bristle end of the brushes over themselves in half, you do get a tool that's a bit more stout. Just use the brush to delicately scrape all sides of the port interior. Left, right, front, back, top to bottom. Hold the phone upright and blow out the debris with some air occasionally. I had a flashlight handy to inspect my work. I will say that there was surprisingly little lint and dirt to remove, but apparently there was just enough to foul up the connections. If you're having charging or other connection problems with your lightning port devices, it's worth it to try these brushes to see if the problem is just a little gunk in your ports!

Great for Cell Phones!
I have a Google Pixel 8A, and have only had it for a couple of years. But for the past few months, I've had trouble charging it on several different chargers. I didn't see a lot of gunk in the charging port, but gave these a try anyways. These are the perfect size for cleaning out charging ports like on phones. Keeping in mind from previous comments that these are both disposable and very delicate, I handled them carefully because I didn't want to bend them before even using them. I actually found them to be a bit sturdier than expected, in a good way. I was worried the main wire would be so thin that they'd bend with barely any pressure, but they should be fine as long as they are handled carefully during delivery. I just used one, and it came out visibly darker from debris. My phone already seems to be charging faster. Definitely recommend!

Horrible product
The 1st one broke within seconds. Then I tried being more gentle, with the 2nd. That one broke too. The 3rd cleaned a little bit. That one bent soon after. So overall a horrible product. Please save your money, and never buy this.

Decent brush, thin/flimsy wire
They're okay at cleaning loose gunk but much too flimsy to get to anything stuck or packed into the charger port. I used a tiny paperclip to loosen everything I could then used this to go around the port and grab anything that was left.

Close but a bent staple works better
I had some pocket lint wedged in my iPhone USB-C port. These brushes didn’t end up working, so I used a bent staple to yank the lint out. The wire in this product is not rigid enough.

Works great! 10/10 recommend
I was very skeptical at first but I figured they are cheap I’ll try it. It made a world of difference! My phone is over 8 years old and I’ve never cleaned the speaker holes or the charge port. It’s like new again and I can hear the speakers now, they don’t sound muffled. Great buy!

Too frail to clean anything
The brushes are too frail and weak to do anything. Junk do not buy. They just bend and fold and do nothing to clean a USB-c I phone charging port.

Does their job
What’s having trouble with my port? It was very dirty. I tried cleaning it. The connection still wasn’t very good. Have you picked these up and they’ve been great. I’ve got a good connection again.
