Polly Pocket Tiny Pocket Places Aquarium Compact with Micro Polly Doll & Accessories

At last, Polly Pocket is back on shelves! And I mean the teeny, tiny playsets - like those that were available from Bluebird that began in the late 80's! This is a very tiny set, that only retails for about $5. The set comes with a small figure of Polly (about an inch tall), a pink dolphin, treasure chest, and swim fins (attached as one piece) that Polly's feet can "slide" into. Instead of pegs that fit into tiny holes like the original Bluebird sets or the Lil' Secrets sets available from Shopkins, these tiny figures have rubbery legs and feet that "stick" to certain surfaces (the rest of the body is made from a harder plastic material) - Polly sticks very well to the bottom of the set! I've tried sticking her to the top of the set too, and she also sticks to that pretty well if you want to pretend she's "swimming" though I'm not sure if it's meant to be a "Polly-Stick Surface" as the instructions don't indicate it as such. I definitely don't recommend leaving Polly on the surface when not in use, as I can see it causing problems later (for example, it becoming difficult/impossible to pull the figures off without ripping the feet off if left on to long). The hard plastic accessories (the dolphin and treasure chest) don't "stick" to it though, so by putting those on bottom and stacking Polly and the fins on top, I am able to successfully close the set with everything inside. If you're interested in buying products from multiple franchises, these tiny toys do work well with other brands. They are a bit taller than the original Polly figures, but not by much. They're the same size as the Lil' Secrets Shoppies figures, and stand a bout a head taller than My Mini Mixie Q's - but the sets/figures themselves could easily be switched around for crossover pretend play! Keep up the great work, Mattel! :D

These are good for a gift if you want something small for your kids to do. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because it doesn’t latch shut very well and the small pieces can fall out easily. But my little one loves to play with it!

i did not realize from the pics the toy is as small as a strawberry its very tiny and delicate the closing mechanism on the front that closes both the lids of the toy isnt a permanent fixture but rather a clip on snap. so the toy could technically open up with movement and the tiny accessories inside can fall out

No, lo siguiente, ahora vamos a lo importante, les gusta a los peques? No sé al resto, pero mi hija de 5 años alucina con la micro Polly Pocket. No la recomiendo para niños menores de 5 incluso, pero desde 5 en adelante es ideal, les gusta a todos, grandes y pequeños, ideal para colgarla en las mochilas, en el bolso o llevarla como colgante, que es lo que yo haré, pues es más práctico de poner y sacar para los más peques. Somos recomiendo? Totalmente, y el precio muy bien.
