This is affordable. I got it for a travel scale but its a bit on the large side. It's great. It replaced our current scale and has been working like a champ. ***Update*** We have been using this for year. We are a bit rough on the power cord but the customer service with these guys was amazing. When we need another scale we will get it here.

This scale is so accurate. I was measuring fine powder mica and it even registered when I spilled a small amount. Really recommend!

This is a very good scale and accurate as well.. to 1/100 of a gram. I got the 5Kg version. It's expensive so it's good that it is accurate. Display is big and bright as well. Also great that it has a built in leveling device (that's part of it's accuracy ability). You can level the scale so the built in little water bubble is perfectly centered. Display also notes whether the scale is properly centered too. My only complaint (outside the price) is their SERIOUS underestimated size for 9V battery placement!!! ITS REALLY HARD TO CRAM THE BATTERY INTO PLACE!! It took 10 minutes of forcing and fidgeting and cramming wires into place and I FINALLY FORCED THE LID SHUT. Its actually very bad. They include a 9v power supply and a small jack on the corner of the unit. But my kitchen doesn't have extra 110v outlet close enough and there aint no darned way I'd use a extension cord!

It works great and was approved for lab use so I got another one. Cannot beat the price!

Great scales. Bought it for my production floor that we need weigh epoxy potting mixture by 0.1 gram accuracy and amount of up to 500 grams this scale works very well. The operators validate accuracy every morning by using provided 1/2 kg calibration weight. Also, we have certified the accuracy by 3rd parry calibration lab it was ok and we have annual schedule for re-certification. We’ll find out soon how well and long is good behavior.

After a year of use, I unplugged the adapter but it fell apart in my hand. I am SICK and TIRED and FED UP with cheap imported plastic crap. I will gladly pay 5X to get a product actually MANUFACTURED in the US. Unfortunately, most products are not made there anymore and we all suffer repurchasing the same product repeatedly and throwing the Chinese crap in landfills. Enough, please.

This scale is not to the level of ohaus or other name brand professional lab scales. It is fine for getting a semi accurate weight... But I wouldnt count in it for precision

worked exactly for 2 seconds. then a burning smell came from the plug. not sure if only the plug is faulty or now the entire scale is damaged.

The balance needs to warmup for 10-15 minutes as the instructions state for the weighs to be stable, if high precision is needed. After warmup, the weights are stable and repeatable. The casing, display and weight tables are perfect. The supplier was very helpful and quick to respond when I had a question about calibration.
