High Quality & Easy to Assemble. You won't be disappointed!
It's a hit or miss sometimes when ordering furniture online, because much of your satisfaction with the product is going to be based on your personal experience with it, not technical specs. I was confident after doing a ton of research online both via reading reviews for this chair on Amazon, as well as watching video reviews on Youtube, and ultimately decided that this was the best office chair in this price range for me to invest in. Is it worth it to buy a new chair if your current chair still works? I had doubted the value of this investment as well for this very reason. However, I can now say with confidence that it was one of the best investments for my workspace, and that I should have purchased a new chair much sooner. It only took me 20 minutes to put this thing together, and it is SOLID. My favorite features: SEAT CUSHION - This new chair has a very supportive and comfortable seat cushion, which fixed the pain I was developing in my lower back and coccyx from my previous chair and its flatter, older seat. BACK SUPPORT - The built in lumbar support is making a huge difference in my posture, which goes on to affect my shoulders as well. It is often overlooked in office chairs, but trust me, it will save your back especially if you are at the desk for extended hours. NECK REST - I've seen a lot of people say that the neck rest in office chairs are not really comfortable or useful, but that is not the case with this chair. This chair offers an adjustable neck rest that is breathable and very nice to lay on, encouraging comfortable breaks throughout your work sessions. LEANING - With an adjustable tension for leaning back, this chair has been great to take breaks on between focused work sessions, or when you want to just sit back and watch a movie on your computer. I tend to keep the function locked when I am working so that I am always sitting upright without a tendency to slouch or lean back. ADJUSTABLE ARMRESTS - Understated feature in office chairs. Depending on what you are doing on your computer and how you are sitting, you will find that the adjustable height and positions of the arm rests give you so much more support you didn't think you need. Getting your arms supported properly throughout your work is going to make a huge difference on whether you will develop tight shoulders and neck. Conclusion: My hip, back, and neck tightness have all gone away since using this chair. I was a skeptic about whether it would actually contribute to alleviating all these issues, or whether I was just at my desk for too long, but it turns out this chair has saved my back and enabled me to work longer, more productive hours at my desk. If you are in the market for a new chair within this price range, this is it. Buy it, spend the 15-20mins putting it together, and you'll never look back. Totally worth it.

Great Chair! (with some mods)
I've had this chair for a few days now and so far it has been great! The seat cushion is firm with plenty of padding that doesn't seem like it will give-in over time (but time will tell on that one), the lumbar support is a nice touch, and the backrest/headrest is very comfortable. It can lean back quite a bit with the ability to adjust the tension and lock the position. I have the seat adjusted forward as much as it'll go since sometimes I like to sit cross-legged on my chair and it feels pretty comfortable. Assembly was extremely easy and only took 15-20 minutes. There were 2 issues with this chair out-of-the-box but I was able to fix them pretty easily: Both had to do with the armrests. They were too easy to adjust in all positions and I felt like a little amount of force would send them moving. I was able to adjust it by removing 4 screws underneath each armrest along with the bolt inside. I then removed some of the lubricant and tightened the screws inside. This made a noticeable difference but didn't fix the armrest being able to move front to back too easily. Luckily someone on Thingiverse made 3D print models where you can make these small plastic shims (look up "Colamy Atlas chair armrest adjustment mod") that will lock the front and back motion. I found that if you put one shim on the top-right and the other in the bottom-left (or vice-versa) you can still move the armrest but it'll take much more force which I preferred. I don't believe you need to 3D print them, as long as you can find strong enough material that can be cut in the correct shape for the shim (maybe using the foam that comes in the box?). The armrest was also too hard and didn't offer much support so I bought some armrest cushions that strap-on rather nicely. You can find these pretty cheap on Amazon. I sprung for a $30 pair with cooling memory foam and they have been great. After a couple of these mods I feel like the chair is perfect for me and definitely a step-up from what I had before. For the price I definitely recommend (even though I had to made some adjustments).

Atlas Great for price. Great adjustability, back rest, headrest, build quality. But not perfect
TLDR; Pros: - Solid build quality & materials - HIGHLY adjustable seat depth, height, recline - Adjustable lumbar & arm rest w/ some issues - Mesh back is very comfortable - Doesn't push into my shoulders like the Leap V2 did (shoulder issues) - Mesh back also keeps me in great posture - Good headrest (my first time using one though) - Solid (but firm) Seat - Doesn't feel like the seat will wear and bottom out for years - Absolutely worth the price in every way Cons: - Headrest takes some strength to adjust - Also, after some breaking in, headrest can accidentally be pushed backward - Elbows sometimes hits the edges of the Backrest (Very hard) - Adjustable lumbar is a hard piece of plastic, so can be quite rough - Arm rests too high, I can't use them if I wanted to (I didn't plan to use them though) - Seat is firm (I like it, but others might not. Probably not fair to have this as a Con) --- I was worried buying a cheaper budget chair for the time being, because my used Steelcase Leap V2 was warped and was making my shoulders issues worse. Along with the Leap's seat cushion being constantly bottomed out. I am 5'11", 162 lbs for reference. The Colamy Atlas was surprisingly great for me. AFter all the thing's I've read about cheaper mesh seats. The back rest is really comfortable and supportive. The lumbar support although a bit hard, works well for me for comfort and sitting up right. The high level of adjustability is one of the biggest things about this chair. Seat Depth adjustment is done with a knob right under your left hip, for precise and accurate fine tuning. Seat height, is great (for me) because it goes up a bit slower than my past chairs which helps me set my perfect height. For Back Recline, there is a tension knob to adjust how much strength it takes you to push back the backrest, and a stopper (I'm not sure the term for it) to lock the back rest at a certain level of recline. The small issue I have is that the first level you can lock your back rest at isn't exactly for a posture that sits straight up (closer to a 90 degree angle). But I got around this by setting the recline tension to max, and turn off the recline locking. This works because my natural strength of my back pressing onto the back rest isn't stronger than the tension that this chair provides. The lumbar support is somewhat basic. You can move it up and down, and the lumbar support itself is hard plastic, so I can imagine this be comfortable for some people. The thing is, the higher the tension is, the farther away from the back rest it is. so I have mine around 75%. It supports me, while isn't too harsh on my back. The backrest itself already helps keeps me in good posture. My only issue, is if I'm resting arms completely on my keyboard and move my arms back a little, it hits the side of the backrest, which isn't pleasant if you haven't gotten used to the chair yet. I don't have too much experience with headrests, but I'm overall happy with it. It has 3 points of adjustment, and seems to be adjustable for any position at my height. But I believe after a few weeks, I've already somewhat broken it in. If I stretch and push my head toward the backrest with some force, the backrest tilts back. It's still very useable and great for when I want to give my neck a little rest. I don't often use arm rests, and honestly the arm rests look great, but I had to remove them the very first few hours. The arm rests are too high and too far forward, so they hit my desk and prevent me from getting into my proper seating position. The left arm rest was also way too easy to accidentally move out of place. Build quality looks solid overall though. I already figured I probably wasn't going to use arm rests anymore anyways so this was in no way a dealbreaker. The casters were also perfectly what I wanted. Might not be for others. They were a tad bit harder to move the chair on carpet than the steelcase leap, but that's what I wanted because I wanted to be able to to adjust myself into just the right position without accidentally moving away from it. Freely moving with the casters when I mean to has no issues at all.

Well built and comfortable chair for office use, but not an executive style chair.
The chair arrived in great condition with only one small dent in the box. Packing was very good and removing the chair parts after opening the box was pretty easy. All parts were included as well as one of each of the screws as spares and they also included the actual tool needed to put it all together. Once assembled, I discovered that the headrest actually has 3 adjustments. You can lift the headrest up and down on a ladder ratchet style assembly, you can rotate the mesh headrest to adjust for the curvature in the back of your neck, and you can also pivot the base of the headrest assembly forward and backwards about an inch or so. Caution: When making this adjustment for the first few times, it is very, very stiff. Its best to fully assemble the headrest by attaching it to the chair, then get behind the chair, place an hand on each vertical part of the headrest just above where it bolts to the chair at the pivot point, and slowly move the headrest forwards and backwards just 1/8th of an inch at a time which will loosen it up a bit with each movement. Keep an eye on the notch at the pivot joint and don't try to move the headrest more the the notch will allow. The back of the chair where the headrest bolts on will flex a little bit, but not break. All of the rest of the adjustments on the chair provide good range including the height adjustment, back recline adjustment, back tension adjustment for reclining and the seat front to back position adjustment. Remember to "LOCK" the seat adjustment into place after setting the seat to the position that fits you best by pushing the knob in until it locks. Pull it out, set it to your desired seating position, then push the knob in to lock the seat in place. This will keep the seat assembly from moving when you move in the chair. The lumbar support depth is really not adjustable front and back, so you determine how much pressure you want on the lumbar part of the chair by moving the seat assembly front or back. You can adjust the lumber support lower back / waist pressure point up and down to fit your waist area. Some suggest aligning it with your belt when sitting. When reclining, the chair and the seat bottom both move in a proportional way, but it is not a rocking chair. If you are coming out of an executive style chair that rocked, this will be a different experience for you and takes a little getting used to. The bottom seat of the chair is pretty firm as well and the foam is cut to kind of roll off at the sides a little so you can comfortably sit on one leg or both legs. The vertical part of the chair arms are made of solid metal and are not adjustable in or out as they are fixed in place very solidly with a connection to the seat. However, the tops of the arms are 4 way adjustable. The arms will stay pretty much fixed in one position with you recline in the chair, which is a little annoying because in that position, the chairs arms, when slid all the way back, don't really provide much if any support to your arms since they are attached to the chair bottom. To help remedy this, I took my arms apart and reversed the top sliding part to extend further to the back of the chair instead of the front of the chair. This change helps a little, but still not perfect. When moved all the way forward, they are just right and when you sit in a reclined position, and move the arms all the way back after making the adjustment, they are acceptable to me. I also ordered a pair of Aloudy brand arm pads to put on the chair from Amazon and they fit and feel wonderful. Here is the link to them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M8F9IYC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Overall, its a really nice chair. It is a little heavy, but for my 6 foot 1 inch frame at 200 pounds, it is a pretty comfortable chair. Its totally quiet and nothing rattles or is lose. It turns, reclines and rolls very easily and appears to be of very good quality. The seat is fabric and the back and headrest is a mesh material that breathes very well. Time will tell how long it all holds up, but overall it appears to be a pretty high quality product. I'll be keeping it.

Excellent Chair – Super Comfortable and Sturdy
I’m very happy with this computer chair! The assembly was quick and easy, and all the parts were well packed. The chair feels very sturdy and well made. The seat cushion is thick and comfortable, even after sitting for long hours. The back support is great and really helps with posture. The height adjustment works smoothly, and the wheels roll quietly without scratching the floor. Overall, this chair offers amazing comfort and quality for the price. Perfect for working, studying, or gaming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable office chair!

Almost amazing
For the price, its the best in its class for sure. But the problem comes with my 225 lb body. Its a great size for 6'0", but the cushion is decently stiff and my butt gets slight pain/soreness after 1.5 hours of sitting. Ergonomics is good with positions of angle, headrest adjustment and slight differencein lumbar, except for the armrests. They feel too far away even when in closest setting, and they move with too little input. The chair looks great, better than it costs. I have used it for about 3 months now, and will use this chair for a while yet, however if you are serious about needing an office chair for extended sessions and are heavier like me, go for something in the $500-$700 range. This just falls short of great for me sadly. I really do like it otherwise.

I thought I had found the perfect mid-tier chair until a year later...
I purchased this in March 2024 after looking at countless chairs in all price ranges. At the time, it looked like I had found the perfect chair, and for a while, I was pleased. It wasn't $1,000-1,500 like most high-end office chairs. It doesn't look like a cheap, low-end office chair. It may not have all the bells and whistles of some premium office chairs but does deserve credit for the amount of adjustability the chair gives you compared to other chairs in the same price range. Fast forward to a little over one year later, the mesh on the back of the chair began fraying. At first it wasn't much of an issue; it was more of a minor eyesore than anything. After another month, the mesh on the back of the chair has now frayed to the point that it pricks/pokes into my back to the point it's as if I'm sitting on a prickly bush. If it were just an eyesore but didn't affect the ability to sit in the chair, I wouldn't be taking the time to leave this negative of a review and would have just lived with it. Technically the chair is still able to be sat in of course but not without having to sit in weird positions to try to avoid the constant discomfort of being pricked in my lower back by hundreds of mini thorns. The fact that I'm now forced to sit unnaturally negates all of the ergonomic benefits and adjustability advantages that caused me to purchase the chair in the first place. The pictures make it look less harsh and less prickly than it actually is. I tried from multiple angles to get one that accurately depicts just how much fraying there is and just how prickly it is, but it was a challenge. I didn't want to spend the amounts that the "premium brand's chairs" come with, but now that I can (essentially) no longer sit in this chair after just over a year, I'm left wishing I had either purchased an extremely cheap chair for a fraction of the costs or had shelled out the money to purchase a "premium" chair even if that meant paying 3-4 times the price of this one. Hopefully this will help someone else avoid finding themselves in the same position I've found myself in—having to purchase another chair for the second year in a row.

Comfortable and Worth Every Dollar
I bought this chair for my home office, and it has been a huge upgrade from my old one. The mesh back keeps me cool during long workdays, and the footrest is surprisingly useful when taking short breaks. I really like how the headrest and 3D armrests adjust perfectly to my height and sitting style. The lumbar support noticeably reduced my back discomfort after long hours at the desk. It feels sturdy, looks modern, and was easy to assemble on my own.

Back feels better
It's a little stiff at first but give it time and it will do wonders especially for your lower back.
