Fantastic cookbook for learning how to cook! And I can't help but hear Julia's voice in my head as I read through this book. I've made myself a promise to get away from overly processed foods and to cook for myself most of the time. This is just the cookbook to keep me out of the frozen dinner section of the grocery store.

While you can tell this is a "used" book (seriously, the only way you'd know is due to the retro look, slight rubbingm at the spine, and it has a bookplate in the front cover) I don't think ANYONE actually used this book. It's practically flawless.

Julia Child’s cookbooks are incredibly expensive so I decided to buy used. The book was in good shape but you could tell it was older. There were no writings, tears or missing pages. I’m hard on cookbooks anyways so buying a used book was wonderful for me.
