Excellent question! kegg detects the changes in the cervical fluid to show the user their full 5 day fertile window. Hospitable cervical mucus is key to sustain, nourish, and assist sperm en route to the egg. Whereas LH doesn’t peak until most of the fertile window has passed, kegg users see the full window from the start (3-5 days before the day of ovulation when women have the highest chances to get pregnant).
In short, kegg does not detect urine hormone levels and instead detects changes in the cervical fluid so you can see the full fertile window to optimally time your efforts! I hope this helps!

Additionally, there are many other observations that can be tracked in the kegg app as well.
