Love this toothbrush!
Waited for a few months to write review. Toothbrush held up really well. The soft bristles were surprisingly effective. I had my doubts but the really fine soft bristle got in everywhere and eliminated food particles and tooth "fuzzies" with just the regular brushing pressure. The bristles held up even after 3 months of use. The handles were very comfortable too (I had my doubts since I was so used to the OralB chunky handles). All toothbrushes came in one cardboard box (that can be recycled - a plus). I just changed out for a new one after almost 3 months. Cut off the bristles and used the toothbrush handle in the garden. When that rots, will put it in the compost. Love the eco option.

Better quality bamboo than other vendors
I had been using a Green Panda bamboo toothbrush for quite some time. I feel fortunate to have come across that brand as my first sustainable toothbrush. They are now out of business, but the reason I mention them is due to their bamboo selection. I read several other reviews on here looking for a replacement - basically all of the top-selling bamboo toothbrushes. To me, it wasn't about getting 8 or 12 or whatever. I just wanted good bamboo. Not that cheap stuff that splinters off. I narrowed my selection down to 3 or 4 choices, and that's when it clicked - only one of them had the little grain freckles, this one and the Green Panda I had been using for a while. The cheap bamboo cutting boards you get splinter like crazy, and if you look at other brands, you'll notice they are more along that variety than not. This toothbrush has great bristles - a sort of long and narrow bristle pattern. The handle is nice and firm. And the toothbrushes are smooth. Different than the imagery - they are labeled 1 through 8, instead of two sets of 1 through 4. Well worth the purchase. No need to look around and compare with others. These are likely the best on Amazon as of the writing of this review.

Great option for sensitive gums!
Great toothbrush!! Obviously love the fact it is eco friendly and good for you and the environment. Gave it 4/5 stars because the bristles were a little too soft/not stuff enough for my taste but if you prefer a softer bristle then this is perfect!!

Good, very soft
These brushes are lightweight, comfortable to use, good for travel, and they have a good mission behind them (plant trees, reduce waste, etc.). The bristles are a bit prickly, but overall very soft. This is nice for sensitive gums, but I find it somewhat ineffective for all my brushing. And it’s really hard to brush your tongue with it. I took one of the bamboo brushes on a trip and regretting using it each time I brushed. When I got home I switched to using a bamboo brush in the morning only, and using my more powerful brush at night (electric spinning brush that leaves my teeth much smoother). The charcoal bristles are great. A bit disturbing the first time you wash out shaded water from your mouth… but once you get used to it it’s fun. Seems like it would be great for kids :)

Good brush, good price
I spent a few days down the rabbit-hole reading reviews for “natural” brushes and decided on these. The makers seem sincere and committed - that matters to me. It’s been several weeks now with lots of daily brushing, and it’s going a-ok. No bristles falling out, no issues. Just the right softness/firmness, too. Though I didn’t push it at all, my daughter (9) and husband each took one out of the box and now love them. Until I can find a fully plastic-free boar bristle brush that I want, this is a great find at the right price.

Great Toothbrush! How to get them to actually last
I've been really impressed with how well the toothbrush cleans my teeth and that the bristles really don't fall out. When you're done with the toothbrush you can just grab pliers to pull out the plugs of bristles and compost the rest! One thing I did find is that the handles are quite susceptible to gently molding, I threw out a number of these just by accidentally leaving it out on the counter and them ending up in a little bit of water... it really doesn't take much. Each time I'm done with the toothbrush now I rinse off the handle, dry it and set it where it can't possibly get wet and haven't had issues since.

Very pleased
I'm very happy with these. I've been switching to more eco-friendly options Inna lot of ways, and I was looking for a good brand of bamboo toothbrushes. I love that you get 8 for the price, and that they plant trees. The bamboo handle is biodegradable, but you have to remove the bristles with plyers before getting rid of it. The bristles are not biodegradable. Also, the bristles are much softer than regular toothbrushes, which is fine with me. The customer service is very, very good. They follow up to make sure you get your toothbrushes and that they are satisfactory. I'm glad to have made the switch. Highly recommend.

Woody taste
So, I like the idea of a bamboo toothbrush for the sustainability aspect of it but I can't get over the woody taste in my mouth while brushing. The bristles are very soft and gentle, at first I thought they were too soft but then after brushing my teeth felt extremely clean so they must work great. I will continue to use them as I now have 4 but it is debatable if I would buy again. Perhaps over the next year of using all 4 I will grow to enjoy them more.
