Esschert Design GT114 Berry Picker

Works great picking wild blueberrys.

It’s been a quandary of mine to figure out how to harvest some of my berries. With this tool you have it without nearly as much effort as hand picking

Finally, a tool that turns the simple joy of berry picking into a full-body workout and a conversation starter (because, yes, people will stare). Let’s talk design: it’s basically a metallic hand with long, spindly fingers that somehow make you feel like you’re auditioning for a low-budget sci-fi movie. The ergonomic grip? Sure, if your idea of comfort is clutching something that feels like a medieval torture device wrapped in garden chic. Functionality? Well, if your goal is to spend twice as long picking half the berries, congratulations! The tiny claws do a great job of missing the fruit entirely or squashing the berries you actually want. But hey, at least you’ll get an arm workout and maybe a few odd looks from passersby wondering if you’ve lost a bet. Bottom line: if you want a berry picker that screams “I have too much time on my hands and zero coordination,” this gadget is your soulmate. Otherwise, just use your hands like a normal person.

The wires are too soft and bending easily with seems (on the wires) rusting rapidly just after a single use. The gaps are uneven and too big for the petite wild berries.

It’s a great size and looks good but the construction is very slight. I had to reinforce the sides because it was put together with staples which wasn’t strong enough. After making some minor changes it worked great.
