A really good baby monitor. The video quality is solid, setup was easy, and it worked reliably for over a year. The app also allows full shared control of the camera, which my other monitor lacks since it only allows one person to turn the camera on and off. Recently, the WiFi connection started getting a bit laggy, so I contacted customer support expecting a long back-and-forth process. Instead, they responded quickly and sent a replacement without hesitation. Good product, even better customer service.

The ieGeek Baby Monitor has proven to be a reliable companion in keeping a watchful eye on my little one. Here’s my detailed review: Pros: • High-Quality Video: The monitor offers a crisp 2K HD video feed, providing a clear view of my baby both day and night. • Enhanced Night Vision: Equipped with advanced infrared technology, it delivers sharp images even in complete darkness, ensuring continuous overnight monitoring. • Two-Way Audio Communication: The built-in microphone and speaker allow me to soothe my baby with my voice from any room in the home, which has been invaluable during nap times. • User-Friendly Interface: Setting up and navigating the monitor is straightforward, even for someone not particularly tech-savvy. The controls are intuitive, making adjustments hassle-free. • Plugged Into Main Power: I use this camera plugged into the main electricity rather than wirelessly, and it works flawlessly without any concerns about battery life. • 128GB Memory Card Support: I purchased a 128GB memory card for recording any necessary footage, and it works perfectly with the monitor. • Great App Integration: I also have an outdoor ieGeek camera, and the app is fantastic. I can easily manage and view both the baby monitor and the outdoor camera through the same app, making monitoring seamless. • Ceiling Installation & Flip View Feature: I have installed this camera on the roof of my baby’s room, and one great feature is that the app allows you to flip the view, making it easy to position the camera wherever needed. Cons: • Audio Static: Occasionally, there’s noticeable static in the audio, which can be a bit distracting during quiet moments. • Battery Life (If Used Wirelessly): While this isn’t an issue for me since I keep it plugged in, I’ve noticed that if used wirelessly, the battery life could require more frequent charging. Conclusion: Overall, the ieGeek Baby Monitor offers excellent value for its price point. Its combination of high-quality video, user-friendly features, and additional monitoring capabilities makes it a solid choice for parents seeking a reliable baby monitoring solution. With the ability to record to a 128GB memory card, the convenience of managing both my baby monitor and outdoor camera through the same app, and the flexibility of mounting it on the ceiling with a flip-view option, it’s been a great investment. Despite minor drawbacks like occasional audio static, its performance and features outweigh these concerns.

We have previously purchased a well-known brand assuming that it would tick all the boxes but we had some issues, especially with the late warning sound as as the monitor was not that sensitive to the crying sound and we have recently met with the ieGeek 2k baby monitor that comes with a unique design and partially soft brown colour that you'll be happy to look at every day and to be honest, we are quite impressed with the performance of this quality piece of baby equipment. The screen size is quite good and adequate for monitoring your baby without any disruption, the controls of the hand unit are easy to use, especially in the dark. Also, you can control the camera remotely from the hand unit with scaning the room or repositioning the camera without disturbing your baby. The baby unit doesn't need to be near your router for optimum efficiency at all. In addition to that, you can actually use your mobile phone (via ieGeek app) to do whatever the hand unit does so this feature was a huge plus for us. Using the monitor through your mobile relies on wifi connectivity and it is compatible with our Virgin Media router and the signal is strong. Basically, the local display can also implement monitoring functions without any wifi while the mobile app should be connected to your wi-fi if you are looking to use your phone for monitoring purposes. Also, this baby monitor supports connecting two cameras at the same time. Another helpful feature is motion detection that makes you aware when your baby moves around. This feature wasn't available in our existing baby monitor so we were so pleased to see that is actually working with ieGeek quite well. A thermometer and humidity censor is another great feature available on this monitor (we had to use another device for monitoring humidity level in the room) as it enables you to check the temperature as well as the humidity level in the room without disturbing your baby, alerting you if it's too hot or cold or the humidity level is outside the figures previously set. Night mode is working great just like day mode and it has three night vision modes, automatic (ICR)/color/black and white, which can easily be adjusted according to your needs. The hand unit charges quickly but you wouldn't desperately need it straight away as you can use your mobile phone while the parent unit is on charging mode. Overall, we would strongly recommend this product to anyone without hesitation.

Excellent quality at a good price. Does everything it needs to. The camera itself is nice and works well in the nursery. Can be left freestanding or attached to e.g. the side of the cot. The camera needs to be constantly plugged in which for us is ok as we have handy sockets, but you may need a longer cable depending on the position of plugs etc. The camera monitor unfortunately stopped working, but when we contacted ieGeek they were very quick to replace this and we had a new device within a couple of days which was really excellent customer service. This is working perfectly well. You can angle the camera, zoom in (3 settings) and adjust various alarms e.g. sound / motion alarms along with volume and brightness control. You can also speak through the camera and this has been useful on a few occasions to settle our wee one down! I was surprised by the picture quality for the price, in particular the night mode which is excellent. The battery on the monitor so far lasts the whole night as well with some powersaving settings, although we usually keep it plugged in overnight. There are temperature and humidity settings - the temperature does read 0.5-1 degree higher than other thermometers in our house, although probably not a big enough discrepancy to be concerned about. There are plenty of other features e.g. a feeding reminder timer which we have not felt the need to use, but are there. We have yet to use the app as we don't feel we need this, but definitely some people may find it useful. All in all and excellent product and would recommend, and ieGeek are certainly quick to rectify any issues as in our case!

Great monitor, easy to set up and works perfectly. Customer service is also top, our monitor screen broke (we dropped it our fault) and the ieGeek team were all quick to get back to me and assist organise sending a new screen. Honestly couldn't ask for better customer service, along with a fantastic product! Would give 6 stars if I could!
