Great motor - camera slider solution
Excellent little motor for the price. I used this for a motorized camera slider and it works well. It has quite a bit of torque - enough that you cannot stop it from turning with your fingers. It is a DC motor so it runs slower with less voltage. It ran at about 1/2 speed when I ran it with 4 AA batteries (6v). It has been running fine with hours of use at a time. If you are looking to get an slow speed or a variable speed motor, getting the right controller and motor together can be tricky. I used the "RioRand Upgraded 6V-90V 15A DC Motor Pump Speed Controller" with this motor and it works fine - on 6V or 12V. This allows you to control the speed from super slow to the full 30 RPM (when running it on 12v). And super slow up to 15RPM on 6V. It has two terminals at the back that you can clip wires onto or solder them on, if you reverse the wires the motor turns the other way. It also ships from within the USA so you don't have to wait weeks for this one to come from China. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Seems like a torquey little motor, pretty quiet too.
I'm using this for a Rifle Brass Anneal-er, seems to have adequate torque when slow down to 4 to 15 RPM. Not done with project yet though. Easy to mount, hubs available for mounting Pan and notched cylinder. Compact strong little unit. Solder tabs a bit small though.

Hidden 30rpm Gearmotor
Received this motor in less time than expected. The quality is excellent for the price. It runs quiet, the gear reduction has no backlash.I,am using it with a PWM that I also purchased for speed control. They both work great together, With no noise, and good torque even at low speed! For the price you can,t beat it!!!

WARNING
The motor and attached gear box works good. No problems there at all. BUT: The wire solder connectors are pieces of JUNK ! I soldered a wire to one of them and mounted the motor and the dang connector broke off. I had to solder and mount first due to the design of the product, The Solder Tabs are WAY TOO THIN and cheap. I had to dig a hole in the plastic back cover to expose enough tab end to solder to it then super glued the wire . PUT IN or offer screw down connectors OR MAKE THEM HEAVIER !!!

More torque than expected
Wow! This is a sweet little motor. Pulled out my 5W solar panel and it fired right up. Intend to use it with a couple of small solar panels to rotate a sun oven on a lazy susan. This is what I've been searching for.

Solid and quiet motor
I intend to use it for motorizing open/close of curtains (will use arduino + raspberry to drive it) in my living room. I got this specific product because of the high torque and reasonable price. Initial (prototype) testing proved it was the right choice. I stopped at the hardware store and picked up some 4mm screws and will attach the motor to the correct brackets for proper operation. Also got a 6mm shaft attachment and pulley to complete the critical (moving) parts of the project. Overall I would recommend this product, I might need to get a 2nd motor for other home automation ideas.

Quiet, Low Power, STRONG!!!
I was happy to find that this little motor was so powerful, yet drew low current and was almost silent! A different motor that I bought which looked identical (but 15RPM from a different vendor) was noisy, drew more current, and didn't seem as powerful. Strange, since I'd expect the opposite due to higher gear ratio.

Good Strong Motor and gear box
Not what I expected since the motor has a long stop time when the power is removed...price was right and I will find a use for these anyway. Very strong motor and gear ratio.
