These are excellent for holding awnings down! Even in softer soil they work great! Not sure about loose sand, the 16” version might be better. They are solid built and showed no signs of bending when I put them in. These are easy to put in with the sharp tip. Just screw it in and tie down whatever you need to. These also work great for Airplane tiedowns in remote settings.

I originally bought a set of 4 of these about 4 years ago to anchor our new trampoline after a storm blew the old one over the fence to our neighbors home :( They have worked great. They have been in the ground and have held up this whole time and we haven't lost another trampoline. Anytime we know bad weather is coming I grab the racket straps and anchor it down (don't anchor it 24/7 mainly for aesthetics).I got tired of moving the trampoline to the desired spot every time I wanted to anchor it so I just bought another set of 4 so I could anchor the trampoline in a different location of the yard (I move it periodically to maintain the grass underneath). Now I have two different locations I can alternate between.I love that the anchor ring folds down. Never had a single issue with mowing or anything like that. Not visible unless you are essentially standing right by it. Over time (being exposed to the elements) the rings are little harder to move up and down, but certainly not an issue and to be expected. Could probably throw some grease/lubricant on it and it would be like new. Highly recommend these

We were looking for a way to be able to have our two large dogs on a tie-out and give them more room in our yard, but w/o having a trip hazard for our children, or having to remove stakes to mow. These were the perfect solution! We have them placed in strategic locations throughout our front and back yard and can "move" the dogs with us when we are outside enjoying the yard. They were easy to put in, with the help of a branch/crow bar to finish twisting, and our dogs are not able to pull them out. The lay flat, and we can mow right over them, and our kids can walk over them without tripping. PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Sturdy and suitable for staking the tent in windy areas.

We use these screw anchors to hold the guy ropes for our carbon fiber 34’ mast when we take our Shack-in-a-Box ham radio go kits out into the field to operate amateur radio. We have used them in dirt and sand and they hold very well.The first time we used them, we had 40 mph+ winds for most of the time we were in the field. The mast and antennas stayed up in the winds and the screw anchors held fast.

Works much better than the tent stakes that came with the screen. Strong winds would pull them right out if the ground. Worth it

We bought these to anchor our trampoline and they went easily into the ground. I feel relief knowing these won't come out of the ground during a storm.

Using to tie down our screen house and they are super sturdy. Easy to insert into the ground, remain firmly, and will be easy to remove (screw/unscrew). Very happy with quality.
