Great Quality and Easy Installation!

worked with no problem - 15 minutes to install
these lift supports are so good for my 2010 lexus is250c. before, my old OEM hood struts required some muscle to pull the hood up....AND KEEP IT UP. that darn thing kept falling on my head and would never stay up. after 15 minutes of installing these...they barely require much effort to pull the hood up...AND it lifts up automatically to the top! at around 35 degrees of the opening of the hood, the hood lifts pull the whole thing up by itself and STAYS up. very good quality. hope these last for a while.

One of those situations where I can’t believe I went years with not being able to keep my hood open because I didn’t realize a simple replacement existed. The process was easy to install. The toughest part was prying the old one off. Highly recommend.

Only received one strut
Only received one strut, so can not review. Will try again. Re-ordered got both 2nd time and they work as expected. Tome will tell how long they last but I'm satisfied with purchase.

THESE DO NOT FIT 2006+ LEXUS IS350
These struts fit physically but the upper ball join connection keeps snapping out as soon as the hood opens, due to the angle of the hood. I installed the upper connection first so the metal clips would be snug around the ball, then as soon as I move the strut to connect the lower ball the upper one snaps out. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! I tried returning these and they charge $14 return shipping. Now I am stuck with a useless product and have to buy from another vendor. When inspecting the upper connector, the one on the new strut is way thicker at the bottom than the factory one. See photo.
