I used these to replace old one in a black and decker 1/2 inch hammer drill. Works well

Modified them
Very easy to modify, a few passes on 120 grit sandpaper worked to fit. Modified them to fit a old craftsman rotary tool. Model #572610530. Variable Speed. My dad bought this for me when I was young, 30 years ago. For sentimental value I had to fix it. Works great now.

they did not fit the space, as they were too small & got used up quickly
the springs came loose from the brushes & were in the way after that

High resistance, won't work
Unfortunately these are not functional. They were approximately 30 ohms. No brush will work with that resistance level.
