Well built, solid performance
This is heavy, even with the battery out of the unit. The LED indicator toggles 4 levels brightness or off. You can trigger the battery to see the available minutes backup by holding in the button. My original battery lasted 58 months. One item: if the battery dies (as mine did in a power outage), the unit cycles through beeping 5x at 1Hz, then shutting down for a couple seconds, again and again until you pull the plug. This is not in the manual, there are no error codes at all in the manual. Battery replacement is straightforward, the right panel pops off easily, the battery carrier slides out and the 12V 8Ah F2 connector battery can be swapped.

Very good product however
Very good product however, the lighting is not dimmable on the front displays with this unit. but if you use black electrical tape, it works great to block the lighting. Although, I used a tinted flexible thin piece of plastic and Scotch taped it over the displays.

Great deal!
I'm always cautious about buying a refurb of any product, but this was a pleasant surprise. The unit is in great shape, and I got everything setup and running as desired quickly. This is my second Panamax unit, and I'm impressed with how solidly built they are.

Power Protection
