I have the A18 and it came with this mount or so I thought they were the same; They are not. The one you get with the unit comes with an area within the mount to store the screws. These do not, you get the screws wit the mount. Keeping the stainless screws is important and they can easily get lost without the in the mount storage.

This bracket is the original wall mounting bracket for the A24 Rat Trap. It was included in the A24 kit that sold for over $200. This bracket probably costs 12 Cents to produce. IT COSTS $22! to buy as a separate part. It should be included in the A24 kit as an alternate (the original) mounting method.They invented a surface mount bracket with a 'trough' to hold the deceased rodents. This 'trough' has to be emptied or it can overfill and block the path to the trap.I bought the A24 for my barn that is 2-1/2 hours from home. I will not be able to empty the trap frequently. I bought this bracket to mount the trap to a post with a large bin beneath it. I'll dispose of the frozen bodies in a month.

Not the same as the one that comes with the trap however it does work, no screws and shipping is unreasonably long.

This mount should come with the $200 trap. But the company thought it would be a good idea to charge $20.During install the screw cracked this mount. I was just tightening it up when I heard a big pop. A huge waste of money . How can good nature charge so much for a trap and not include the mount.

Nice, but really too expensive for what you get.
