Works like a charm

My Samsung HDTV only had 2 HDMI input jacks and I had 4 devices I needed to connect. So after reading a few reviews, I thought I would give this one a try. My wife very much does NOT like dealing with remotes, especially when multiple remotes may be needed to get something to work. I was a bit nervous. Setup was pretty easy. Soon had all four hooked up; time to see how the switching works! Very easy, just a power button and one for each input. The front has a light for each input, labeled with the number that corresponds with the matching one on the remote. Switching between Blu-Ray, nVidia Shield, laptop, and gaming console is flawless. One thing I really like is that if you power up just one device, the switch senses it "come alive" and routes the signal automagically to the TV. My wife doesn't even have to touch the switches remote. That makes her happy, which makes me happy. Our TV is 4k, but we don't watch a lot of 4k material. What little I have watched, I don't notice any picture degradation. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an HDMI switch.

The remote is a little glitchy and not responsive. Otherwise it works.

Works great. Love that it automatically selects the source that is on. I have this to split two game consoles. Whichever device is turned on automatically becomes the selected source on this splitter. No need to look for the remote or push buttons on the unit.

Dead Out of the Box!! I bought 2 of these a few months ago to set up my sons extensive video game collection. I didn't try them until today. What a mistake!! Neither one of them work! They have a pretty little read light that makes you think it is working but no tv in the house recognizes the device when it is plugged into the HDMI port. I tried all of the ports, the remote doesn't switch anything, the button on the front of one of the devices doesn't even work. When you look at the instruction the pictures in the instruction booklet doesn't even match the device in the box.

We only had two HDMI ports and four plugs, necessitating a solution that was straightforward to use and highly effective. This product surpassed many of my expectations!

I have two computers that share multiple monitors and a KVM switch to handle more than 1 monitor are pretty expensive. I bought this switch to handle the 2nd monitor and it does the job perfectly. It's not as convenient as it would be on a single KVM but with the remote it's just one more button to push and I don't switch that frequently - my usage tends to be on one PC for a while, then the other, and not much back and forth, so it's well suited to my usage. If you need a basic HDMI switch I would recommend this one.
