Got it to distribute books as diwali-gift. All the children are happy to have received these books. The whole Horrible series is fun. I've read many myself - horrible science, horrible geography, horrible history, horrible maths etc.

Packed with a punch of science and joke that really gave me score in school.
The books are good. I am a 14 year old bookworm just searching for science with fun and if you are one just buy em' extremly usefuk for 12 and above.

Great set!
Books arrived in pristine condition, and the box wasn't damaged a bit. Horrible Science is great to learn science from (if you ignore all the corny yet sometimes funny jokes/puns). Go for it!

My son loves every one of these books. The set has kept him busy for a long time, and he now wants even more because these are so good. They make "science" fun and interesting, so I am happy to have him spend time reading them.

Sono libri eccezionali, interessanti, avvicinano alla lettura in inglese dei testi scientifici "da grandi". Esiste la loro versione anche in italiano, in inglese vanno bene per i ragazzi con livello di inglese a partire da B1. Ai liceali del 1, 2 o 3 anno aiuteranno a famigliarizzare con l'inglese scientifico in una maniera divertente e non noiosa. Va benissimo per quelli che seguono il programma Cambridge. Se non c'e' il problema della lingua, vanno bene anche per i ragazzi delle medie.
