South Indian drip filter gets the best decoction when coffee powder is fine grind. Most of your range is coarse grind. Why?

Dear Sir. Our Ground Espresso is a fine grind. Espresso's use fine grind as the water is pushed through the finely ground and tamped coffee in the brew basket at high preassure. Our French Press coffees are coarsely ground so the coffee grounds stays below the mesh when the plunger is pushed down. Our Filter Coffees for South Indian Drip Filters are of Medium grind size. Too fine grind in these filters will clog the filter because the fine coffee will compact inside the filter and will not drip. Coarsely ground coffee would drip too fast as the water will flow through it too fast and decoction would be too mild. Medium sized grind is what is required for south Indian Filters and that is what we do for our Pure Filter Coffee and South Indian Filter Coffee. You can control the drip by adjusting the pressure when you push down the coffee inside the filter chamber before you add hot water. We hope this helps. What is the shelf life after opening the packet

After opening, keep the contents in an air tight container & store in Fridge. I have had no problem for more than six months.

It's amazing!

Despite being 100% pure (no chikori), the colour and flavour achieved in relatively lesser coffee powder is amazing. I prefer buying from local coffee works and had run out. Ordered this I'm Bangalore and voila...same day delivery saved the day! The flavour & freshness is good. The price however seems higher and that I think is because of the packaging. Overall it's good and won't hurt for a single person use (the 500gms pack promises 35 cups) however, if there are more drinkers and consumption is more than once, it may hurt on the pocket. I need a strong cup once in the morning and this works for me.

Amazing coffee!!!

I used to buy coffee powder from a local stores in Pune. The stores is closed due to lockdown and I ran out of coffee powder. During my search in Amazon, I discovered Sidapur coffee. I ordered first time in May and I was so impressed with the taste and the aroma, that I repeated the orders twice. The packaging is excellent. Retains aroma. The whole gets filled with the aroma of coffee when I brew it in the morning. This has not happened for a very long time. Great coffee. Great value for money

New packaging, low quality

I have a regular buyer of their coffee, however with the new packaging I recieved, the quality has gone down massively, the coffee doesn't taste the same, strength of it is weak and odor is half. May be it was this one I recieved but highly disappointed.
