Worked great to replace a broken bracket on a 2002 Jeep Liberty
The original gas shock bracket had rusted and then it broke off. I was able to file down the portion that was left and then installed these brackets over the original bracket location.

Decent quality
I bought these to install gas struts in my camper overhead storgae compartments. The brackets are very well made and more than heavy enough to handle the light weight of the storage compartment doors. They were very ease to install. Would highly recommend them.

The base of these seemed think at first, but they are stainless steel, so they are very durable. I had a unique situation, so I had to order a different configuration, but the ball on these is very smooth and firmly set in the base. I've kept them for use on another potential project. Would recommend as they appear very durable and well made.
