Shower Door Sweep
This shower sweep works really well for stopping water from leaking out of the shower. It fits securely, is easy to install, and helps keep the bathroom floor dry. Good quality and holds up over time.

Works perfect
I recently had a custom shower built. I love having a glass door on the shower I think it elevates the look of the shower. I purchased one but needed to ensure that it fit my doorway perfectly. This was a perfect fit because the shower door was measured well. The tile is completely flat and even. This was easy to install and I have no leakage from my shower. It is almost completely see through so matches the door. Forms the perfect seal for the shower door. It arrived fast and is offered at a great price.

Super sturdy and easy to install
I fit great on the glass width and is very sturdy! My girl math made me not take into consideration the bottom part, so I did have to cut the entire bottom part off because my shower is raised a bit, so it wouldn't fully close. After I cut it a bunch of times with kitchen scissors, it worked! I did have to heat up a spoon to push the sturdy plastic down, so my door could close a bit better. If the company is reading these comments, can you please make one that doesn't have the bottom flaps that touches the floor and possibly the corner make it so the plastic is a bit more flexible. I love that it's SUPER sturdy but my door doesn't close all the way because it's sturdy and it angles out. But again, my fault because I'm not great at measuring. I've had it on for a couple of weeks now and no water is coming out.

Arrived with a crack in the plastic at one end; proceeded to crack the whole length of the item.
I have purchased this shower door seal several times before and it was great. This time, the item arrived cracked. I had already disposed of my old one, so I thought I could probably still use it since the cracked plastic was only at one end, and I needed to shorten it significantly to fit my shower door anyway. So I proceeded to attenpt to cut the item to the exact length I need, and it ended up cracking the whole length of the strip. I have cut many of these strips before with no problem, this strip must have been old or something, it was very brittle and did not cut smoothly like previous ones. Will not purchase again.

Simple, Easy, and Fixed Our Problem
This fixed our problem almost 100%. We just built a new house and decided to have frameless shower doors because we had seen some in a nice hotel we stayed in and we loved the look. I also loved how there was no u-shaped metal track on the bottom of the shower for the door to sit in, which can turn into a hard to clean place for dirt to collect, not to mention it can be ouchy on your feet if you step on it or stub your toe. However, the shower in the hotel did not have a sweep like this, and after using it, we ended up with quite the puddle of water on the hotel bathroom floor. I figured it was just poor design of the tile ledge that the door hangs over, and if we simply had our builders make sure that the ledge was sloped enough, the water would run down the door and continue down to the drain. However, after our beautiful bathroom was completed and we moved into our house, we quickly discovered that we too were having water escape under the glass door and all over the floor. I Googled the problem and discovered these clear shower sweeps that people were raving about and decided to give it a try. It's not very expensive and it installs simply by sliding into place with no glue or adhesive, so there was really not much risk involved. (The lack of glue also means it is easy to remove for cleaning purposes.) With super fast 2-day shipping, it came, we clipped it on the door, and immediately our problem was solved! We had almost zero water escaping the shower. The remaining escaping water is caused because we also have a slight gap along the side of the shower door where the occasional well aimed drop or two can find its way out, but it is minimal enough that we have not opted to also install an additional h-jamb along the side of the door because the h-jamb will not allow the door to continue to open either into the shower or out into the bathroom space (you have to pick which way you want the door to open, instead of having both options). But, if we decided in the future that those extra escaping drops were overly problematic, then I would not hesitate to install an h-jamb as well (http://smile.amazon.com/Polycarbonate-Jamb-Hard-Degree-Glass/dp/B001G12TZQ/ref=pd_bxgy_60_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0YWV6MKMT2YTW3EZS2S7). We are very happy. So happy, that we got a second sweep for the downstairs bathroom as well. Although, one word of caution; it appears that how tightly the sweep seals between the bottom of the door and the shower base ledge depends on how exactly hung the door was originally. Our basement sweep fits slightly more snug than our upstairs sweep because the door in the basement was hung just a fraction lower than the upstairs door. This make for a tighter seal, but it also make the door slightly more stubborn to open and close. Perhaps, with wear, the plastic will become less stiff and allow the door to swing more freely.

Excellent quality -- Be careful when cutting it to size -- use a fine tooth saw/blade
Ordered this a few weeks ago and installed it the same day it arrived. I'm glad the item is longer than my door because it allowed me to test cut. Here are a few important tips I learned: 1. Test cut on one end. I didn't have a fine tooth blade on my mitre saw so I tried using a course blade and it chipped the one end off unevenly. Definitely use a fine tooth saw/blade. I ended up using a manual coping saw and it worked out great. 2. Sand down the corners so that once it's installed, the sharp plastic corners do not scratch anyone. It doesn't require a lot of effort for the sanding. I just picked up a small piece of sandpaper I had lying around and rounded the corners. 3. When applying it to the shower door, you will definitely have to apply a little bit of pressure to get it on but it's a nice snug fit on a 3/8 door. 4. Clean any gunk/mold from the old sweep prior to putting the new one on (important otherwise it won't go on properly). As another reviewer mentioned, it does turn white when you cut but this is because the wrong tool was used to cut it. Take your time when cutting it and again, use a fine tooth saw or blade. That's the only way you will get a nice finish on your cut.
