This is a story about a girl on a basketball team who learns what it means to be a great teammate and comes to understand that "We Before Me" is more valuable then meeting your own needs when working in a team. I am using this story with my students who range from 6th grade through high school with kids with developmental disabilities. The underlying values in this story carry over to all walks of life including hanging out in the cafeteria, during recess, maintaining social friendships and skills necessary on a job site.
