Back for more
This is my second season using these for early season coverage of broccoli and cabbage in zone 7. They get really beat up here in March and April with snow, rain, and VERY heavy winds. I was concerned since they are in raised beds that they wouldn't stay put in the wind, but they have held up really well and are easy to pop in and out when I need to water the plants. One thing to note is that I was seeing some super slow growth and realized you really should uncover the plants during the day if your temps are warm enough. If they stay under the frost blanket 24/7 they likely aren't getting quite enough light and you'll see very slow growth. Easy enough to uncover during the day and cover again at night (as long as you don't have a ton of space you're trying to cover.) These have allowed me to get brassica harvests in before I need to get my tomatoes and peppers in my beds, where otherwise I wouldnt have the ability to get successive harvests in since our nighttime temps swing down to the low 20s in early spring. These keep the plants warm enough to withstand those freezes (I think the lowest temp we saw was an 18 degree night and there was minor damage, but nothing completely died). I bought a couple more this year for additional beds, but am really pleased with the usability and durability of these frost covers.

Easy to use, keeps veggies alive!
Love these tunnels! I purchased the fleece and net tunnel. The fleece saved my plants from frost and the net has been amazing for my broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Even though weโve had unusually hot weather for Michigan they havenโt bolted! Easy to put up and fit perfect in my garden.

Great product for succulent gardens
Used for the first time this past winter in Central Texas to cover a succulent garden. Had multiple nights of below freezing temps, which is a little unusual for my area. Out of the 12 plants in the garden, 7 survived very well, 3 did not survive at all and 2 were dead on top but survived down low under the leaf and rock cover, plants should survive after trimming and TLC. Definitely think these covers saved the majority of my plants. Biggest problem we incurred was the fabric cover sliding up and around on the metal supports, causing air holes to open in the bottom areas the of cover. Placed rocks on the areas of the fabric that seemed to be prone to sliding and mostly stopped the sliding. Another issue we had was crazy squirrels who chewed on the open ends and took the fabric with them into their nests. We will have to double two section together next year to cover these holes.

wow...I loved them...byt Mr Velvet Deer did not...
These have been in gale force winds for a week and have not budged! They have a little bend in the wire insert that enables landscape stapling and THAT has worked really well. A deer tore them to absolute shreds! He wanted those hostas. The frames are still standing!

Great while it lasted
I really liked this, it covered my plants in rows well, protected them from cold and Friday pretty well.. The ends can flap in and out which was annoying; Any plants near the ends would be beaten if it's windy. There's not anyway to secure the edges down to keep cold seeping underneath a well This year when I put it out I noticed several holes so it's definitely not going to last; I bought it one year ago. So, I'll be cutting off the old stuff and see if I can find another garden fabric to sew onto the hoops, and I'll extend the fabric at the bottom as well to make a more secure fit so air can't deep underneath. In the future I'll just buy hoops and make my own.. BUT, the shade netting hoops seems to be holding up well and I love those from this same company.

Not worth it - doesn't last
I have had this installed for less than one month and it is falling apart. Big hole in the middle, and other small holes developing already. Have had several light rains and a light snow (<2"), should last longer.

Best thing I ever did for my Minnesota garden!
I used these for the first time on my raised bed vegetable garden and it extended the growing season by 6 weeks through our cold fall nights in Minnesota! It was awesome eating fresh picked kale and broccoli into late November! Super easy to use and worked better than expected PLUS they are re-usable! I can't wait to see how they work in the spring for early planting

Looks silly - but works with our crazy weather!
Our 'older' friends who farm / garden seem to think that good old fashioned common-sense dictates when to plant and what to plant. With extreme weather patterns increasing, or at least changing in our part of the world - hard frost is a definite killer for our precious garden plants! Then, when the heat comes - we are at risk for hail storms that sweep in and disseminate crops and gardens in the blink of an eye! This easy to use 'tunnel' is invaluable in protecting our plants as much as possible while allowing them to grow and bare the delicious home grown veggies that we love! Silly looking or not - I expect that we will all see more and more of these intelligent preventative care gardening tunnels in the future!

Protection from the weather all year round.
Wow these are well worth buying. Very easy to put up you just need some tent pegs to pin it to the ground. Very good size and my veg is growing at record speed. My pot marigold seedlings came up fast under these cloches.

We shall see!
This year, for the first time we decided to grow some chard and our local insects decided that it was absolutely delicious. The plants were growing well and a fair size, when suddenly lots of nibbled holes appeared in the leaves. Spraying the plants with bug zapper was rather like shutting the stable door after the horse (or insect) has bolted. So we now have this fleece tunnel around the chard plants and I will definitely report back on what happens next. The tunnel has metal hoops stitched in place and these are simply stuck into the ground. We didnโt need the full length of the tunnel, but rather like a concertina it can be erected to any length from the full 3m to however long you need less than 3m. The drawstrings at the end mystified us somewhat, so we just used a handy rock to close the ends. Now we will see if the chard survives without being nibbled. UPDATE: After several weeks I can indeed verify that safe inside the fleece tunnel our chard and beetroot plants are entirely un-nibbled by any insects or other pests, wahoooooo.
