Do you have to use the slats? Can I put my adjustable base inside the frame instead?

Yes you can put your adjustable base. We just did and work really good, the only thing it take out the stops bar that the bed have for the mattress but work really good. We have the Sven & Son Split King Adjustable Bed Base Frame Platinum

Is this bed suitable for heavy customers?

No at all this bed is for show an not to laying if u ask me

Q is it easy to change the bed sheets ? Do we have to lift the foam mattress (10" height) to change the sheet ?

it is very easy to change the sheets but yes you have to lift the mattress ,not all the way up but just a little to pull the sheet completely under the mattress to secure it .

Where can I purchase the screws for this bed?

Mines came with the bed so I’m not sure
