I purchased Kapiva A2 Ghee because I trusted the brand’s reputation for traditional Bilona-method products. However, I am extremely disappointed. Unlike other A2 ghee brands I have used, this one has absolutely no aroma. Authentic A2 ghee should have a rich, nutty, and caramelized scent, but this smells flat, almost like refined oil or processed butter. The texture is also not as granular as expected. For the premium price being charged, the quality feels subpar. I’m starting to doubt if this is truly 100% pure Gir cow A2 ghee or if it’s a lower-quality blend. I wouldn’t recommend this if you are looking for that traditional desi ghee taste and smell. I feel like I've wasted my money.

This Kapiva A2 Ghee has a great flavour and smell that is very difficult to describe. If you are used to other packed ghee products then you might know the actual smell and taste of a ghee made from desi cow milk and without any adulterations. I used to buy ghee from my village where Ghee is made from the milk of desi cows that gives A2 milk. This Kapiva A2 ghee is exactly the same in taste and smell. The packaging was very good and giving a glass bottle for ghee is good. The lid was air tight, though there was no tamper proof seal, the entire lid was covered by jute and wrapped in plastic. The ghee texture is superb, a bit coarse, neither too hard nor too watery. The smell is just pure ghee and I don't think there is any other ingredients added. Ghee is very healthy and using A2 Ghee is gives the best health benefits as it contains medium and short chain fatty acids. In fact its Keto and Paleo diet friendly. This Ghee is very food for young kids and help improving brain functionality and bone strength. The pricing alone is on the higher side but when the health side is seen I just wanted to try it. I wish the price gets reduced. We use this ghee for everyday use with Dosa in the morning or with any other gravies. Overall an excellent ghee when considering the health benefits, smell and taste.
