this functioned perfectly fine with my old MSI stealth laptop from like 2014. cant remember the exact model as i dont have it anymore but it served it purpose for the rest of the time i had it.

Just what I needed for my old Predator Helios 3000. The plug in part fit great ,not sloppy like others. Small charger unit. Longer cords.

cord died for my Helios 300 laptop. This is a perfect replacement. only issue is for some models, they have a slightly different cahrger port, but the vendor tries to fix this with an adaptor. I got my package with a note telling me about this port duality and the adaptor would solve my problems. but the box wasn't even taped shut and the adaptor wasn't there. If you have a Helios 300, no issues. if you have a different model, might want to look at another vendor

I use one for the bedroom, one for the game room so I only have to move my laptop and not the charger. I bought 1 in Aug 2022, it worked well, bought another one last week (May 2024) to have one for both rooms. I have an MSI GT Dominator Pro from 2014. It runs 180W, has an i7 4910MQ and a GTX 880m (yes I know, I need a new computer). It gets warm but not to hot to move, compact, light weight, good for travel to. I just bought a 3rd because I made the mistake of using the 180W charger on a gigabyte laptop with an i7-12700h and an RTC 3070ti (230W) and it worked... for about 10 min... until the charger fried. My mistake, not the mistake of the charger, I should have checked the specs. Fair warning so you don't make the same mistake I did! Just because the plug fits doesn't mean you can assume it works, check your specs.

Impressive!! Two years in and I have not had ANY issues with this charger - none! This is technically NOT capable of powering my MSI Creator 15 laptop which typically requires a charger of 240 watts. I have run 24hr Furmark w/ CPU benchmark at full fan speed and brightness. This charger survived. Surprisingly, this charger is lighter and smaller than the OEM charger. It's been a perfect addition to this otherwise quite heavy combined setup. That said... I DO NOT RECOMMEND this charger for the MSI Creator 15. It is NOT designed for it nor technically capable of being used in that application. However, the fact that it has been so effective and problem free pushing harder than designed should be viewed as a glowing endorsement. My advice... Yes it is a touch more expensive than other options but that expense is WORTH IT. I highly recommend it.

I have several other power supplies and thought the last thing needed was a new one. I was certain the charge port was bad because none of them worked continuously and changed the charge port. I did notice this jack has a black looking ring instead of red like the others, made a good tight fit and is working well. Had given up on being able to fix my laptop and ordered another laptop, hard to believe with 4 power supplies this is the one that works. Sent the new laptop back. A simple thing but difficult to get it right.

My wife's MSI gaming laptop power supply kept shutting down. No indication it was going to do it except a small LED on the side of the laptop would go out. Only fix was to unplug the power supply, then plug it back in. Search results found it was a common problem. Got this for her, and no more problems,

Picked this up for my MSI GS65 9SE (2019) model with the RTX 2060 GPU. I've had this for about a week and have been able to charge my laptop without any issues. The cloth carrying pouch is a nice touch for those who have space to carry this brick in their backpack when traveling! This is also one of the reasons why I went MSI instead of Razer because you can't find a 3rd party razer for the Blade and it's almost 3X as much as this charger! Oh the price of being fancy!
