How does the phone body and handset feel? Does it feel heavy and solid like the old time phones or lightweight?

The hand set is very heavy just like the antique. The phone body is lighter than the original but is still heavy enough to stay put when dialing. It’s not necessary to hold the base while you dial.

Does this phone connect via an ethernet patch cable (clip) into the wall phone or does it have to be wired into the phone jack?

I have internet phone service and I plug it into the phone jack on my Ethernet/wireless device.

Can someone please give me the actual measurements? It says 2 different things on here! I’m hopeful the depth is only 6”!!
