Dee Zee DZ6535P Poly Plastic Storage Chest

I purchased this about 4 years ago to use as a utility box in the bed of my Kawasaki T4 to hold tools, first aid etc. I simply bolted through the bottom of the box into the bed using a machine screws, nuts and fender washers next to the plastic. I've had it in 2 different UTVs and it's holding up great. It has plenty of room for the gear I leave in and room for some extra gear when needed. It is an ideal alternative to the high priced box offered by Kawasaki and in my opinion it is much more versatile than the Kawasaki box. I have not had any problems with water getting inside but dust does manage to get in, but hey, there's a lot of dust flying around when you're on an UTV.

This was a present for my husband. He wanted a chest that locks (even though he has a bed cover) for his Chevy 2500. It fits perfect in the back with the cover on and he can put all his necessities in there and his camping stuff. He is very happy with the size and I bought him locks for it to.

This was a purchase to get around the airlines second bag cost. The deminsions just satisfy the requirements for a second bag. I purchase a small roller stand that I use with this box and store in the box when flying. I was able to pack some displays and equipment for a trade show that I was normally an over size bag costing additional fees. Now I get everything in as a second bag and pay no additional fees. The quality of the box is fine, hard plastic. It has survived the abuse of travel, some nicks and scuff marks from the airlines dragging the box. If you are going to use it as a stand alone box or secure on a atv or throw in the back of your truck then this would be fine. The quality of the box is good. It is thick in the areas you need making durable, It holds my weight of 200lbs sitting on the box. There is no seals to make this water tight, it basically is a lid with the ability to lock it. I use belt clip straps to hold the top on flush and secured. Keep in mind this is only plastic this is not a pelican case, but for my use for airline it works fine.

I ordered this to help keep my truck tools in one place. It's nicer than expected. I can't attestation to the weatherproof part because I have it under a cover but the box is sturdy and well made. Very happy!

I bought for my RV as a trailer tounge box a few months ago. Despite their claim of being weather resistant, rain water will seep into the box and wet everything inside- faulty design of lid and internal weather strips. Had to add weather strips around lid but don't know if that will even work. I'll most likely end up having to toss it. While a sturdy box, my suggestion if using the box outside and want to keep the items inside dry, don't buy this product. Not worth the price.

Sturdy and rugged container. I have it on my outlander 6x6 for equipment. Has a lot of applications with the cupholder Deep enough to keep your beverages in place on the trial.

Just big enough for my off road gear. Fits just right along the side of my 2025 CFMOTO U10 Pro Highland. I’m able to close the tailgate. Lid is lined with a rubber seal so when you close it, it doesn’t let any water or dust inside.
