made for ACTUAL pet owners
This is the only vacuum I've seen advertised for pet owners that ACTUALLY knows what a pet owner needs. I have two cats, two quails, five parakeets, and a few pet mice and this works leagues better than my huge, heavy duty corded vacuum that got clogged up in unreachable parts that I can't even get to by disassembling the entire thing. Theres a release for the hose right at the base of the vacuum to help get the initial curve that is every pet owners nightmare so it unclogs easily, and it's pretty darn difficult to clog in the first place. It also has instructions that are actually understandable and detailed, including some as stickers on the vacuum itself, which is pretty rare for most products. Admittedly my pet room with my birds and mice gets very, very messy and large pieces of litter gets everywhere, plus bird droppings, pet food, and bird dust (bird owners know what I mean). My large vacuum has been busted for a while so it got out of hand very fast even with my using a tiny broom, and I finally decided to splurge on this and give it a try, but I was so tired of sweeping carpet that I just risked it to vacuum even the large things. It picked up everything, and I mean everything, from hay to dust to the large bedding pieces. It clogged once, only because it sucked up a cloth I had on the floor by mistake, but it was so easy to fix. It holds a lot for how compact this vacuum is, it's exceptionally quiet, and the light on it is nice and bright if you actually need it. The charge seems to last a while so far, but my battery does show a different amount on it than on the little display when it's on (photos were taken at the same time for reference). But with that being the only little kink, I can't say I'm upset. Overall 10/10, genuinely if you're questioning it you should get it.

Hoover onepw Wr evolve pet cordless vacuum
Bought this in July and it stopped working within two weeks. They did replace it. The replacement model also stopped within a month. They’re now on the third one and it has stopped working. Do not buy this product. This is terrible. Yes they keep replacing them but they’re no darn good. If every time you go to use it, it just won’t work the roller stops working instantly very poor product. Very poor disgust it

Terrible vacuum!
This product is faulty, we purchased for my mom for Christmas 2024, by the end of Feb it quit working, won’t hold a charge past about 5 seconds. Two months??? She probably only uses it once a week, she’s 86. Not very happy!! There is no way to contact Amazon when you have an issue!!

I GOT A LEMON
First of all, I have owned 2 Hoover Linx vacs. I bought one in '15 and one in '16. Understandably, one of them died but I do still have the one. Eight years is spectacular for a battery powered vac. I searched and searched for the Linx which is no longer available. I imagine this is the upgraded version of the Linx. When I took it out of the box, the instructions said to push the handle into the vac opening and push down till it clicks. I pushed as hard as I could but never did hear a clicking sound but I thought as hard as I pushed, it should be ok. I also charged the battery. When I tried to turn the vac on, it would not come on, despite trying several things. I googled for trouble shooting but never really found anything. Customer service is only available M-F, 9-3, despite saying 9-6 on the instruction sheet. Also, the instructions said there are "no serviceable parts" to this vac. Hmmmmm. After all that, I thought, this thing is going back. We had to figure out how to get the handle back out of the vac. To do that, there is a small hole in which you place a small screwdriver. Pushing into that hole releases the handle. Once we did this, it must have "seated" the handle so it worked! I was very happy about that UNTIL I went to turn it off. It would not turn off despite pressing the on/off button numerous times. I had to remove the battery to shut it off. By this time, I am totally burned out from fooling with it and have decided to send it back. I'll look for something else. The Hoover Linx is the best stick vac ever made, imo. It worked like a charm and the filtration system was very easy to disassemble. After every few uses, I'd take very everything apart and wash it. I see many people happy with this model, but it did not work for me.

Good ol HOOVER!
We already own a Dyson V15 detect, BUT we have always had a second vacuum for quick fast clean ups. We had the prior model...now I can't think of the name...but after many years it died and is no longer made. I grew up with HOOVER vacuums so for me it's almost a sentimental thing too :) This vacuum works GREAT overall. I had seen many reviews even videos where the brush would stop if you end up going over different length carpet?.. We have had zero issues with the brush stopping be it over plush, short...or even a nice wool area rug. Brush has zero issues, and it does NOT collect hair! I wanted this Hoover mostly because it was one of the few vacuums where you can just use the suction, and turn the brush OFF over say...wood flooring. In the end...We ended up not using that feature as the brush doesn't scratch OUR wood or vinyl floors....just use the brush on low to medium power. Two things I am not thrilled about. One is the head is not really suitable for stairs. It seems connected only by plastic tubing. I did see reviews where that tubing ripped...and I would imagine if you constantly pick up this vacuum and let the heavy head part just be suspended by the plastic tubing, over tome that COULD be a weak point. Second gripe is the battery. It is NOT bad...but for such a a large looking kinda heavy battery, battery life is not GREAT but it is pretty good. We like the machine has lights as you vacuum, like that it can stand up without leaning it or using some sort of mount like the Dyson. Overall it's a very NICE vacuum...esp if maybe just suing it more for quicker clean-ups or you don't have OCD and need every millimeter cleaned. The Dyson V15 is perhaps in a diff class, but it's also very heavy and a bit of a pain to use, and twice the price.....so GO Hoover!
