Get the Real Deal
OK, this isn't for everyone given it's limited appeal. I'm a 32 year Vet and my Dad was deep in China for much of WW2 (Navy enlisted weather guesser with FT Bragg jump wings. There was a big reason for it). We have what we call the 535 Club in our soon to be back to no stoplight town. That means some Vets show up at Jack's Place bar at 5:35 on Thursdays. A couple members had knock-off clickers. I chastised them for it and bought a couple of these for gifts. You don't buy these things for their uber technical design or fabrication. You buy them to see what it was like realizing what it meant to make anything out of metal in England during WW2. So the clickers are put to good use at the 535 Club. The Bar Keep knows exactly where to bring another round to. I'd encourage folk to keep the traditions alive, remember all our Allied heroes, and enjoy a piece of history. Opps, time to head out to the 535 Club... with my clicker.

Where is it made?
The detail information shows WANGHUI as the brand. This seems odd for a made in England product.

Great Gift. Piece of History
If you have watched the movie Longest Day or the HBO series Band of Brothers, you have seen this clicker in action. The clicker is high quality, made in England and works well. Neat gift for someone who is a WWII buff.

These are awesome!
They sell "Crickets" that are more expensive, and also more affordable ones. Definitely spend the extra money. What you get for that extra spend is thicker material, that holds up well to active use. This particular product is great!!! I bought 2 initially, and have 4 more on order, for gifts, etc.

Nice finished and loud popping sound
This is a reproduction made by the same factory from England as the original. Nice finished and loud popping sound. The reason for the 4 stars is that it is overly priced. I purchased mine directly from J. Hudson & Co. LTD, England.

Highly recommend!
It is perfect. My boyfriend is a huge WW2 fan and an avid Ham radio guy. He loves all that cryptic communication stuff. He will love it!

Exactly as described.
Great item, it is exactly as described. A great piece of history to add to a collection or a functional piece of kit based on ones needs. I have recommended to many other individuals whom have ordered their own and all have been extremely happy with their purchases as well.

An Excellent New Reproduction
This new production of the Airborne's cricket is really well made, feels solid and the packaging is fantastic (done in the original style of the time). If you're a history buff or have a reproduction uniform this is something you should add to your collection.
