Farmstead Apothecary 100% Natural Anti-Aging Face Cream with Jojoba Oil, 4 oz (Strawberry Gardenia)

What is to not like about a face lotion that is rich and creamy, not sticky and smells incredible? I use this stuff and my kids, husband and even dog love the smell. I seriously have to stop my dog from licking this stuff off my face. I have always gotten the fig and honeysuckle. I use retinol so after I put retinol on, I put a very very very thick layer on my face to help my skin not dry out. I also use it in the mornings. I just rinse my face with water then put a thin layer on. Let that dry and then add another layer to the areas that are dryer and it soaks in perfectly. It seems impossible that with such a thick, creamy lotion that it wouldn't be greasy, but it's not. Even when I put a ton on--I love this stuff! Also, the best part, is obviously the fact it's not toxic. I can't believe this stuff isn't exploding on social media. It's amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about this face cream. It can be used both morning and night. Its smell is a light rose smell which is intoxicating. I love it. It’s thick and I was a bit skeptical that it might be greasy feeling. I was relieved that it wasn’t. This cream is a perfect balance of moisture and not the kind that is greasy and sits on your skin. This stuff soaks in giving your face a beautiful dewy glow. I have used hundreds of different brands of face creams and found some that I thought were good. Unfortunately most of them are toxic and have some nasty chemicals in them. This stuff is all natural, so that makes you feel even better when you use it. I will say a little goes a long way so you don’t need a lot to get the moisture your skin needs. I will definitely be buying this brand from now on. That’s how much I love it!

I was looking to change up my face cream. I am sensitive to soy, so it is important that I find a natural alternative with minimal ingredients. I’ve only used the product a few days but my skin feels softer and more moisturized. I suffer from eczema on my face, an unfortunate side effect from soy if consumed and takes forever to heal. I apply a face oil, a medicated ointment on affected spots, and this cream after which absorbs well into the skin. It doesn’t feel oily or waxy or leaves a white cast that some reviewers mentioned (mind you, I’m very fair-skinned.) The seller/company owner has been very informative, and verified the ingredients, with only cross contamination possible. Since I’m not highly allergic, this was my best option I’ve found. As for scent, it’s subtle and pleasant but I do wish it was more fruity and fun. I hoped with the strawberry gardenia scent that there would be antioxidants as a benefit. All the scents seem to have supplemental benefits. Also the fact that this product is 4 oz and is the same price as my last face cream of 2 oz is a bargain plus being more natural. Overall, I’m going be purchasing again, maybe in a different scent next time!

I love this face cream. I'm about to open what I believe is my third jar? I use a gel moisturizer and then this one. It's a thicker, creamer consistency. I am perpetually dehydrated and as a result, so is my skin. I feel like this cream helps moisturize my dry face, and any tightness I feel prior to using goes away. I am in my early 30s and starting to work on the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles that have started to show. I have those forehead lines from raising my eyebrows and I truly feel this has helped minimize their appearance. Even being such a rich cream, I have not broken out or had any pore congestion. Scent is also very pleasant, light, not overpowering in the slightest. I feel I smell more of the cream scent than any fragrance.

EDIT: After a week or so of use daily, my face broke out. I’m sensitive to a lot of things though. It was worth a try. I’ve only used for one day, but so far I love the quality of this product. I couldn’t do citrus on my face except strawberry, so I went with the strawberry gardenia scent. It smells wonderful and doesn’t have a fake scent smell. It smells like an all natural product made with native fruits and flowers would smell. After a minute the initial smell died down, but was not too much for me when applied. I love it. Smells both like strawberry and gardenia. It soaks in well and isn’t greasy. I actually went back and applied a little more to my dry spots once it soaked in. Great product and I would recommend. I 4 starred the price, just because I’m not used to spending 20$ on face cream. It is cheaper than other popular brands though, and is just as good in my opinion. I’ll update if I have any adverse reactions over time. One more thing, most lotions/creams I have tried burn when I apply them, I have a sensitive face. This stuff was great. No burn at all.

The quality of the moisturizer is good but sadly the fragrance of Fig and Honeysuckle not so much. Looking to explore different facial moisturizers I thought I'd give this a try. After reading good reviews, etc.

The reason I tried this was because of the pure ingredients. No crap, only good stuff. Bravo! So many products say they are natural, but when you look up the ingredients, they are actually crap. Thanks for making something HEALTHY for skin. The reason I keep buying this is because it works for my skin. I am a quite dry skin 54 years young, but can also get clogged pores with the wrong products. This keeps my skin hydrated all day, great for day or night. My skin is way more supple and hydrated because of this. I look good from using this too! Thank you Farmstead Apothecary for creating this! And, please never stop making this! I've tried tons of stuff in my years and this is the only thing I love. This is the ONLY thing I put on my skin and I get results of healthy looking and feeling skin.

WHERE IS YOUR FIG AND HONEYSUCKLE FACE CREAM???? SO MUCH NICER THAN YOUR STRAWBERRY SCENT. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ?????
