Simple to use and not expensive.
This is not a heavy duty piece of equipment, but it works well and gets the job done if you are interested in making meals for one to four people. I like that if I am just making noodles for me because I can just pull it off the shelf and use it quickly. Clean up was certainly easy enough. Why did I get this version of a vegetable spiral cutter? Simple, I saw Mary Berry the British cook and writer recommend just get something simple an inexpensive and hers looked just like this product. I find it easy to use, and with limited hand and arm strength it was not to much to work with.....just use smaller vegetables. The size is small enough to actually work well with the size of my smaller hands which is a plus. It cleaned easily enough and once dry I just put it in a medium plastic zip bag and put on a shelf.

Yes, works well.
Works well so far.. but need to mention, can only use with larger diameter veggies. IE, carrots won't always work if they're smaller, they need to be wide enough to catch the blades and not slip through the hole so be warned. Also, DO NOT LET YOUR FINGER GO IN THE HOLE. You will be sorry. A little caution needed when using as there are exposed blades, but it's fairly simple to use. You will want to get a small brush for cleaning it, you can't use a sponge for the blades, it will be torn apart. It stained after first use (carrots,) but idc. The noodles are good, consistent and easy to handle. You can get some really long pieces so might want to cut occasionally. A big hit so far. My only complaints: not a big difference between thin and thick sized noodles as far as I'm concerned, also, I think it should come with a brush. Went in dishwasher no problems, but I think over-use in dishwasher could damage. The dishwasher doesn't really clean it well; you will still need to clean by hand. Great for: English cucumbers, large carrots, zucchini.. the piece to grip the end bit of veggie works well, is very sharp. It actually helps to minimize waste which is great. As an added bonus when pieces of veggie slip through the hole connecting the two sizes of noodle blades you get veggie rotini. I wish there was a way to make this alone! They are quite fun to eat but I prefer to separate them from the 'noodles'. Does take a bit of wrist magic.

Ideal Tool for Zucchini Pasta
I love a bowl of good old-fashioned hot pasta, so the Veggetti tool offers me a pasta alternative in the form of a cool bowl of raw zucchini spaghetti. The tool's solid build, hourglass shape, and side handles make it easy to use. It's also pretty easy to clean. Just be mindful when you're removing small bits of vegetable from the metal blade that the sawtoothed blades are quite sharp. And if you leave the cap on the opposite end when you're using the Veggetti, don't forget to remove the cap when you wash the tool, as small bits of vegetable are deposited in that end. Overall, it's a terrific tool that I expect to use for many years!

Fun, Fast & Healthy — Veggie Pasta Without the Fuss!
The Ontel Veggetti Spiral Vegetable Cutter is a game-changer in my kitchen—perfectly fusible for anyone wanting quick "zoodles" or creative veggie spirals! 🥕 Why It’s Great: Instant Spiral Magic: Just twist a carrot, zucchini, or cucumber, and you’ve got perfectly shaped veggie strands—great for healthy swap-ins or fun meal additions. As-Seen-On-TV Simplicity: No complicated parts—just adjust the handle, clamp the veggie, and in seconds, your noodles pop out. Fast Cleanup: Basic plastic design means a quick rinse under running water; it's small enough to clean easily by hand. Kid-Friendly & Safe: Plastic blades are sharp enough for slicing but gentle, so fun for kids to use (with supervision). ⚠️ A Couple Tips: Use Firm Veggies: Performs best with crisp produce—soft veggies may twist or mush instead of spiralizing cleanly. Watch for Clogs: Some thicker skins (like carrots) can jam it—pushing through slowly prevents that. ✅ Final Take: If you want a quick, healthy alternative to pasta—without bulk appliances—this compact spiral cutter delivers. Easy to use, clean, and fun to let the kids pick out veggies. A great tool for anyone exploring veggie-centric meals!

One of the few times an "As Seen on TV" product delivers!
I love this thing! It works just as advertised and as long as you clean it immediately after use, clean up with a hard spray under the sink is all that's needed. It's basically a huge pencil sharpener for squash. Ingenious design actually. The blades are super sharp and shred the vegetables into noodle-like strands easily. I prefer the "thick" setting, although there's not a huge difference between thick and thin. The only negative I can think of is the cap that's supposed to help you grip the vegetable when the end is too short to hold in your hand. It's totally useless in that capacity. It just shreds the end and doesn't grip it at all. Having said that, it's not a big deal because you can shred a good 90% of the vegetable with your hand. There's not a lot of waste. I suggest keeping this cap over the end you're not using as it catches the "core" pieces that pass through the opening between the cones. Give it a try...it's a great substitute for pasta and when you put sauce on it, you barely notice the difference. Even the texture is very similar. I've used zucchini and yellow squash with mine with great success. I recommend sauteing the noodles in a pan with a little bit of olive oil. Boiling them makes them mushy in my opinion. As soon as I shred mine, I salt them raw with garlic salt, saute them in a pan with a little bit of olive oil for 3 minutes, then remove them and put them on a paper towel. They do render liquid as they cook so I prefer to let that soak into the paper towel so the sauce isn't too watery. After that, I heat some sauce in the same pan and re-add the noodles just long enough to warm them. A fast, tasty and healthy lunch.
