Use this one!
Don't mess with the air filter or try to innovate. This one works perfectly, and don't create problems. I was using one from H&N and it cost me thousands of dollars in repairs.

The box was opened and oily.
The box was oily on the outside, but the filter was clean. Difficult to install at first, then I removed the complete housing to make it easier. It was easier to install by removing the complete housing unit, installing the filter in it, then reinstalling the housing unit.
