I was going to visit my family in Iowa the first week of December and wanted to wear some rather expensive lug sole boots because they are stylish but also warm and expected to be supportive and sturdy in the event of snow or ice. I got this product to protect them from wet weather and if slushy, salt and other products that may be in the mix in winter weather conditions. I sprayed 3 or 4 coats, letting dry completely before each new coat. The application process was simple and the product did not in any way damage the boots or lead to discoloration or spotting. As it turned out, a massive snow storm hit the week before we went and we had 7 inches of snow one night while we were there. So yes - all my fears of wet and slush came true. Even the somewhat unexpected need to trudge through snow that pretty much buried my boots. But, my boots were perfectly protected and still look as good as the day I left for Iowa. I was delighted! Attached is a pic I took after returning to CA. I did nothing special to clean them after the trip and before taking this picture — heck, I didn’t even swipe a soft cloth over them before taking the picture. They truly just repelled the water and slush and muck!

Used this on a new leather purse. Seems to be working well! Left no residue on bag when sprayed!

Spray works great for weatherizing shoes and boots. Very little in the can. Does maybe 3 pair of shoes/boots. Way too expensive for the amount in the can

Works really good to protect your leather or suede products. Didn’t discolor or change the leather. Best sprayed outside as it does have a strong smell at first. As soon as it dries, you’re good to go. I buy expensive purses, use this all the time.

Just what I needed to perfect my new coach purse from getting dirty! Water resistant. I sprayed 2 layers and tested by dropping a few drops of water and it repelled right off! Has a little odor when you first spray but after letting it sit for 30 minutes there is no smell. For the price you can’t beat it!

I tried to use it on my work boots and the results were mixed. It partially protected the shoes. My feet were still wet afterwards 😩

This actually works. After watching multiple reviews on you tube, I was still hesitant to buy this because I didn't want to ruin an expensive bag, but it actually works. I sprayed Apple guard on the vachetta leather on my LV bags and the colour didn't change. Plus I get caught in the rain and there were no water marks. I wished I bought this earlier and used it on my previous bags which have water stains.
