We already had interior security cameras in both places, but had been procrastinating on an outdoor camera, not wanting to pay monthly fees. I have a flowering pink dogwood tree in front of the living room window up north, but each year when we got up there it had already blossomed. I wanted to be able to see the tree in bloom, and all the other early season flowers that come up around it. This was one of the main reasons I wanted an exterior camera. (also just to check on the outside of the property in general.) I did some googling and checked reviews on desertcart and came upon the Reolink Argus Pro. It seemed to be a perfect fit. I ordered it and the solar panel since would be gone for months at a time and not able to charge the battery. The camera and solar panel arrived and were so easy to set up. I mean *really* easy! I downloaded the app on my iPhone and just followed directions. Within five minutes the camera was functioning. I popped in a 16 GB micro SD card and I had my husband install the camera outside our living room window while I looked on the app to make sure I could see everything I wanted to see. We played around with different settings for a while, deciding to allow push notifications but not emails. The push notifications were enough. If you set the app to send emails of alerts, you get a nice snapshot along with the email. The solar panel keeps the camera charged between 98 and 100% at all times. That too was very easy to install and mount. Setting up the Reolink client on my laptop was a little more tricky, because the instructions aren't really as clear as they could be. For the Argus Pro, you have to enter the UID number, not the IP address. Then, you leave "admin" as the username, but you use the password you set up for your camera as password. A little non-intuitive but with help from customer support I got it. Customer support is only online, but they are very patient and responsive. Remember they're in a different time zone so you'll hear back from them the day after you email them. Be patient. They *will* get back to you! Our son was over and saw us install the camera and promptly went to desertcart and ordered one for his place. He loves it too. We then ordered a second one for our other place. We installed that one yesterday and added it to the app (very easy) and to the Reolink Client on the laptop. The photo I've attached in the view of both cameras in the Reolink app on the laptop. It's just so cool! The two year warranty is another good selling point. This is really a great little camera. The phone and PC apps are really well thought out and the company is very responsive. I highly recommend! Get the micro SD card. It's only five bucks and change for a Kingston 16 GB card here on desertcart. Get the solar panel if you don't want to charge the battery every now and then. Both are worth the extra money. Review: Great cameras, even better support - First, I will point out what may have criticized Reolink for - their support is in Europe and responses only come in the middle of the night. However, unlike many companies, they DO respond and they DO solve and fix any problems. I now have 4 of their outdoor solar cams. I have had a few occasions to use their support. Recently, all my cams stopped working with Alexa. I contacted desertcart support, both via email and phone. I spent endless hours over several days getting nowhere. At one point, they told me to simply reset ALL Alexa devices (Echo dot and Show) and reprogram ALL my devices (switches, plugs, lights, cams, hubs, etc.), a process that would have taken days, given all that I have connected via Alexa. When I refused that option, they finally admitted they had updated their software and there may be some bugs in it. They said they would look into it, but considered it an 'internal matter' and would not be informing me of any fixes they discovered. At my wit's end, I contacted Reolink support to see if they had heard of the issue I was experiencing. They hadn't, but said they would immediately turn it over to their R&D team to look into, even though it was an desertcart problem, not a Reolink one. Within 24 hours, my cams were all working again perfectly. Reolink let me know they had found a bug in the Alexa software, written a workaround in their software and sent an update automatically to my cams' software/firmware. This was weeks ago and I still never heard another word from desertcart. The Reolink support team is courteous, responsive and SOLVE problems, all with the least amount of disruption to the end user. Oh, did I mention that the picture quality is GREAT, the solar recharging is flawless (I have never had a cam's battery drop below 80%, despite heavy usage and recordings? In all aspects, Reolink is the BEST. Also, a special shout-out to Mark, Beatrice, Arielle and Tracy for their excellent support over the past year!

Muy buen producto, buena calidad de imagen y funciona bien, la bateria recargable da buen tiempo, aunque es recomendable adquirir el cargador solar.
