Impressed
The moss came with no directions which was a little confusing for a beginner. Very impressed with the amount and quality. It was completely dry when I got it but soaked them and looks great.

So green
It did arrive all dried out, which I expected. Didn’t take a picture of it then. I immediately spread it out in a big bowl and let it soak up water. I loosely set the bowl lid on top and let it be for a few days. It really greened up and fluffed up. That’s when I got a picture. And now I’ve started terrarium projects. Two small ones and got a big one yet to do.

Not worth it
I tried everything to revive this moss and it never grew or resprouted. Tried soaking it in water for a few hours to rehydrate, and then set in a glass terrarium on a north porch. Misted regularly and.... Nothing. Just greenish, brown lumps of what was probably moss at one time. They arrive loose in an envelope with no instructions, so good luck if you try these.

Looks Good so Far
It was a mixture of large and small pieces and worked well for my project. It arrived late and the packaging was just a plastic bag and it arrived late. The moss fared okay. It’s looking fine so far after starting it 3 days ago. Most pieces were thick.

Not worth it
Pretty expensive for the tiny amount delivered— two dry clumps that barely covered the top of a 6” pot.

Will buy again and again
Quite a bit came brown but emedietly turned a beautiful green in about a few hours. Used spring water. Too much to use on a single or even two terrarium projects. Great value.

A little dry
I'm not sure what thickness and warmth have to do with moss, but ok, I'll do your bizarre stars rating. The moss arrived late, possibly due to the federal government's meddling with the USPS. As a result it was not so fresh and about half dead. I soaked it overnight with stored rainwater before putting it into my planters and it seems to be doing better. Never having used moss before I'm assuming it is anyway. It's not as dark and lively looking as the moss I plucked from my driveway, but it's not yellow or brown. Yet.
