Auto Diagnostic Scanner iCarsoft VOL V2.0 for Volvo/SAAB with ABS Scan,Oil Reset, ABS Bleeding, Injector Coding ect

I have a 2012 Volvo XC60 3.0L with a “Parking Assist Error” on the dash. While I don’t give a darn about parking assist, the error message is super annoying, and you can't turn it off. So, I purchased one new sensor and guessed which one (of the 8 there are) was the problem. Since they are a pain to access, I gave up after swapping a couple and purchased this scanner. Within 5 minutes it diagnosed the “Right Front Inner” was the culprit. I switched that one out, reset the codes and voila! No more error message. This scanner is a winner. It does only work on Volvos & Saabs, of which I'll never buy another Volvo so probably won't use the scanner many more times. Still at the price I paid, it is a great tool. I wish I had purchased it a couple years ago when I diagnosed a bad MAF sensor. On that one I just made a lucky guess. This iCarsoft Scanner would have made quick work of that repair as well. Bottom line, if you need a quality scanner for your Volvo, here it is.

Had free scans run, never provided enough information, and they won't clear codes, this tool is accurate easy to use and upgrade. If you dyi with Volvo it's a must have tool. For 1 star reviewers READ applications and instructions so you order the right one for your car!

This is a life saver!! It goes deep into all different computers!!!! Reads all the fault codes and clears them. An absolute must for garage mechanics. This is the single most important tool to have in my tool box when it comes to fixing my Volvo. Saves me hundreds of not thousands of dollars going to the dealership. It even runs real time diagnostic. Lots of info from this diagnostic program!!! I had an abs light on that only the dealership could clear. I disconnected a sensor by accident and reattached it. Warning light was constantly on and I was reminded EVERY TIME I turned on the ignition. This scam tool cleared it! The dealership was going to charge $200 just to clear the light.

What a disappointment. I bought the iCarsoft VOL V2.0 specifically for a quick EPB service on my Volvo. Instead, I wasted hours trying to get it to work and got absolutely nowhere. It couldn't even read the VIN—I had to enter it manually. Even after manual VIN entry, it failed to properly decode the vehicle. I had to go physically check the engine block just to confirm the type. The on-screen interface didn’t match the instruction manual at all. Navigation was a guessing game. The instructions for the EPB procedure were completely wrong—different menu structure, missing steps, nothing made sense. When I finally stumbled my way to the EPB maintenance mode, none of the functions worked. Every attempt ended in an “Application Error. Press F1 to Exit” message. Tried several times, rebooted the tool, even checked connections—no change. What should have taken 10 minutes turned into a frustrating waste of time. In the end, the job didn’t get done, and the tool is going back. I’ll be buying a different brand. For a product that claims to do full diagnostics, resets, and maintenance functions for Volvo, it failed right out of the gate. Buyer beware.

Doesn't do SRS, doesn't isolate what to fix, has odd sections like infotainment but not window or door locks. It doesn't do much more than the 29 scanner I already had.

This thing is legit. I was slightly worried given the "English is not my first language" grammatical mistakes in some spots (both on Amazon and their own website), however shame on me because this thing just plain works. Saw a bunch of reviews on here/Amazon for other models that had high ratings, figured it was worth a shot. I had been struggling with 2 issues on a 2013 Volvo XC60. First was a wheel speed sensor and the second was a parking distance sensor (their are 8 on this car, some very hard to get to). This told me exactly which sensors to buy - as in, the exact location of the wheel speed sensor (front left) and the parking sensor (front inner right). Ordered the parts, cleared ALL of the ECU codes (Note: important step - gotta do this part or it won't recognize the new parts right away), and went along my way. Took a little bit to orient myself with the functions, but I'm talking maybe 10 minutes. COMPLETELY worth the cost. Would purchase again. Bryan in North Carolina

First time I use it to reset service warning on my 2013 Volvo S60 and it can't communicate with my car. Tech support advised to update and try again but it still has the same issue. I sent hm the log for a week now and follow up with email, but I still do not get an answer or email from him. I search Google and never see any one use it for Volvo. It too late for me to return since it's more than 90 days since I purchased. I should have tried it right away when I bought it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked due to quality of product, however, packaging and shipping leaves the product susceptible to damage. Should be boxed instead of shipped in envelope. Easy to install and overall a very good product.

Works well with P2 V70, read and clear codes. Menu is a bit time consuming to go through, it would be nice to see highlights of any codes without having to enter each menu section

Heb een ander type veel ouder ontvangen werkt wel op een Volvo. Ben er nu achter gekomen dat ik zeker een heel ander product heb ontvangen een soort universele lezer. Heb besloten het terug te sturen.
