After trying at least 5 different salt ice melts i finally found one that works great! The price is great! It was easy to use as i just filled a bucket and sprinkle it on the stairs and driveway. Having the green color it was easy to tell where i had put it and still needed it. It works fast and and helps keeps the ice from forming. I will def keep buying this product and i definitely recommend if you need a fast acting ive melt for an awesome price!

The Snow Joe Eco Melt Premium Pet-Safe Ice Melt really does a great job on icy sidewalks and driveways. It works quickly even in colder temps (down to -25 °F) and I appreciate that it’s pet-safe, concrete-safe, and low-tracking — so there’s less mess and I don’t worry about my pups’ paws. I also like that the added liquid heat helps it start working fast, which is noticeable compared to traditional rock salt. The reasons I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 are that it’s a bit pricier than basic ice melt and the granules can clump a little if stored in a damp garage. Still, in terms of performance and peace of mind for pets and surfaces, it’s definitely worth it. Would recommend for anyone who wants strong ice melt that’s safer than regular salt!

I used this ice melt on my driveway after a heavy snowfall, and it did a great job breaking down the ice quickly. I spread it over the tire tracks and slippery areas, and it started working almost right away. The ice softened and melted much faster than regular rock salt, which made the driveway a lot safer to walk and drive on. I also like that it doesn’t leave behind a thick residue once the snow and ice melt. The crystals are easy to spread and cover a good area without needing to use too much. After using it, I noticed less refreezing overnight compared to other products I’ve tried before. Overall, it’s very effective, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do during winter weather. 2nd time buying — green salt, it works great. It’s probably a little more money than other brands, but I know it works, it’s pins per safe, and as much as I’d like it to last longer, a lot does depend on how much snow and ice we get. But it does last a long time once it’s spread on the sidewalk and driveway, and it starts working immediately, so for me, it’s worth the price. I’d rather spend a little more as I know my chances of slipping/sliding/falling are lessened.

Gave the product 5 stars: excellent ice melt for me. Works very good. The only problem was not related to this seller.. JUST AMAZON'S DELIVERY PERSONEL!!! Only the delivery was not up to par....AMAZON needs to get their people to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!! This was delivered to an elderly woman (82yo)... The delivery instructions were for the package to be placed inside the screen door on the screened in porch because she cannot lift the 40-pound bag.... Instead, it was placed on the steps blocking the screen door. Thank God someone stopped by that was able to move the Ice melt for her.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. It is free-flowing, so it's easy to scoop out and use. It seems to do well at melting the ice and snow, as well as providing traction. My only complaint is the package size. I knew it was going to weigh 50 pounds when I bought it, and I wanted the larger, more cost-effective package. But for a senior woman, 50 pounds is more than I can easily handle. I'd do much better with a 40-pound bag.

I use it for additional extra weight in the back of my rwd cargo van. And it is better to have than sandbags. It’s a useful tool to help me get out of a bad situation in the snow or ice. It saved me from being stuck in the snow. I just put a liberal amount on front and behind the rear tires and waited 5-10 minutes and it worked like a charm.

This stuff is false advertising it ruined my concrete and my neighbors I paid $15,000 for pattern concrete and it has flaked off in all the locations I put this stuff on don’t buy for concrete
