YDL 3.7V 302530 150mAh Lipo battery Rechargeable Lithium Polymer ion Battery Pack with PH2.0mm JST Connector

Had to solder it in. But it works good and now my helecoptor lasts a lot longer. It was a little too big but I made it fit.

Got it for replacement. Needed to get correct size. Works.

I bought this battery as a replacement for the battery in my Perytong Bluetooth Sports Headband (also purchased on Amazon), whose battery began to fail after 5 months of use. The batteries have the same model number (302530), voltage (3.7V), and physical dimensions (30 x 25 x 3mm), but the battery I purchased as a replacement has a slightly lower amperage (150mAh as opposed to 180mAh for the old battery). In theory this means that it will not last as long before requiring a recharge, but the amount of difference does not look significant. There is an even higher amperage version of the 302530 (200mAh), but it must be shipped from China, and I did not want to wait that long. The battery in the Perytong Bluetooth Sports Headband is not designed to be easily replaced. However, the plastic box that houses the Bluetooth controls and battery does have an easy to snap off cover. You then have to cut and strip the wires on the replacement battery and attach them to the wires in the box with a drop of solder. I did this, snapped the top back on the box, reinserted the box and wires and the headband, it it worked flawlessly again. These batteries seem to be made by the same Chinese company, so but I was hoping this one would last longer than the original battery. For this battery I avoided using the quick-charge Samsung charger that I had occasionally used to recharge my headband battery because I read recently that this can damage this type (LiPo) of battery. The battery cost less than half the price of an entirely new headband, so I was pleased about that. But it lasted only three months before it stopped taking a charge.

Product worked after allowing for more room the battery took up in device. Battery was good...not enough attention paid to size by me before purchase. Gary

I was looking for a three pin wire but think that two will work with some effort. Exactly as described. Didn't respond to the battery life question as haven't installed as of yet so not sure if it will work for the system I purchased it for.

If you plan to use this product with PC boards from Adafruit, Sparkfun or the like - be aware that the battery polarity on this assembly is BACKWARDS from what those boards are expecting! You are quite likely to DESTROY the connected board using this battery AS-IS. ABSOLUTELY check the battery versus whatever you plan to connect it to!
